Reagan the cashier was extremely rude, was in store when they closed and I walked up to register one minute after closing and was not allowed to pay out. Will not be returning the whole town of Hico is extremely rude, they want to be a tourist trap but lord forbid you ask them to do their job.

I shop here now and then. Good selection food. Although meats are kind of iffy. And prices... Wow. You can definitely tell they are the only grocery store in hico.

Be sure to check the date on items, many are expired. I needed a few baby food items for an infant and we get home and find them expired.

I shop here when we need really good green chili from New Mexico (the Young Guns and Zita brands) bc for some reason Brookshire's and Brookshire Bros don't carry them

It was nice, found what I needed because they have a good selection of frozen produce for being so small! If you do come here be prepared to wait in line for a while though, sometimes there’s only one cashier at a time.
