Lady checking out was great, younger lady.
But there was a line pretty much down an isle and the older lady whom I’m assuming is a manager was sitting on the phone talking to someone the entire time this young lady was having to check all these people out, she didnt get off the phone until the young girl was done checking out everyone, and it was a lot of people with a lot of stuff. That’s Laziness and ridiculous. Other than that love the store, but that manager def doesn’t need to be a manager if she’s going to be lazy . Management is supposed to help out when it’s clearly needed, not sit back n make everyone else do the work

Came into the store to buy an ice cream bar, I just happened to have an EMPTY plastic water bottle I had purchased with my lunch about 30 minutes prior that I hadn’t had a chance to throw away yet. This water bottle was tucked into my arm, obviously crumpled and completely empty with no water in it whatsoever. When it had come time to check out, I walked up to a register with an older woman using a cane servicing it. She said absolutely nothing to me until she had scanned my ice cream; I was confused because immediately after scanning it she took about a 10 second pause and stared at me in a quite discourteous manner until she said “Am I gonna scan that?” In a very abrupt tone, mind you. I kept my cool and replied with “Oh, I got this with my lunch.” She looked completely BEFUDDLED at that and said “Okay and how am I supposed to know that?” Obviously trying to bicker with me. She then said “You could’ve given me a heads up when you walked in that you were bringing that in.” And I said “My empty water bottle?” There was so notice, sign, or post that told me I couldn’t bring in outside food or drink and if there was I would’ve abided by it. She continued to get upset, and after a while of her talking about just how absurd it is to bring an empty water bottle into a family dollar I checked out and left. Doing my best to avoid this store from moving forward because she always seems to be the only one on staff. Family dollar please invest in a customer service training for your employees so you don’t lose any more customers!

Everytime that I go into this store I keep thinking that as AWESOME as the employees as well as the management (can't ? ? too many members of management like this all of the time anymore), couldn't possibly top from the last time that I was in their store bc of these individuals that treat EVERYONE like they're family regardless if they have relatives who frequently stop by to shop, but yet again they have. I have an issue with the refrigerator in my RV unit and bc of age the chip for it only allows for it to run on LP. During the summer not as bad of an issue since I only use this appliance on it, but come winter and it's a new ballgame bc of using the furnace also depending on how it may get. Went to use the small settlement from the epi-pen fiasco and everyone knows what I mean, to use it to swap out at least one 15lb propane tank since I was out therefore losing everything in my fridge. After many trips and tries to pay for it using the virtual card I received and speaking with the card issuer to find out why it wouldn't work, ended up still not being able to purchase a refilled tank. The very last time I tried it and it still wouldn't work one of the Ladies there offered to pay for it and could reimburse them after my disability went into the bank. I politely refused but she told me that if I came back and it still wouldn't work then I had no say-so in the matter and that it would be done. I didn't go back until today since it finally went into my account. She didn't have to do that, for the fact most of them didn't, but being a local and spending almost a small fortune in their store each month they still would offer a stranger like me that chance not knowing if I would ever actually return or not. They always go above and beyond and should be recognized. Ty y'all again for all of your help.

Went in today to pick up some wellness products for my sick husband. Only had a $100 bill on me. Older woman asked if I had anything smaller and that I need to remember that it’s Sunday. I said I’m sorry but that’s all I have. Then Cheyenne proceeded to slam my change down when counting it back and shoved it across the counter at me instead of handing it to me. I get they may be low on small bills but as a consumer it is no my job to act as “bank” for them. I also shouldn’t have to find out before hand if they have enough change for my purchase.
