I needed a CPA to help navigate a new tax situation related to a new job, and Randall proved to be a tremendous help. His knowledge and experience with taxes are outstanding and his professionalism and customer service are unmatched. Randall met with me one on one, answered my questions thoughtfully, and offered guidance on various nuances I wasn't even aware of. I appreciated his timely response to my initial outreach, as well as his flexibilty with scheduling our appointment. I highly recommend Randall to anyone looking for tax services!

I met with Randall for tax questions and he was a very nice guy. He met me in person since I had documents I felt more comfortable providing in person rather than sending over the internet. He was on time, professional and has responded to my follow up calls in a timely manner.

I met with Mr. Pairett and he helped answer several of my questions regarding my upcoming taxes. He took time from his day to meet me at a shared office space that he works out of when clients want to meet, which did not seem unusual to me since most of his work is done online. He was professional and very knowledgeable. In fact he told me that I should not file my taxes too soon because there may be some legislation that passes that could save my family money. So far my experience with Mr. Pairett has been nothing but positive and I find his rates reasonable for the work that he has offered. I look forward to having him as our new CPA.

Lies. Lies. And more lies. The man is like a ghost. You can't catch him. He's working out of his basement or garage. Pairett held my taxes hostage and lied about having an office.Randall Pairett, CPA, is dishonest and has behaved fraudulently in his business dealings with me. He avoided by phone calls and emails. He refused to return my original tax documents until after he was paid a second payment of over $1,000.00 (of which I had not agreed). Initially, I paid Randall Pairett $1,500.00 to complete two tax amendments. Once he took possession of my originally filed taxes, it cost me another $1,000.00 to get them back. I’m pretty sure extortion is illegal! And, he only completed one of the two amendments he had been paid to complete! He made himself completely unavailable: no real office location, no response to my emails, text messages or phone calls. He only responded to me two weeks after my repeated attempts to contact him, when I mentioned that he had given me another client’s tax documents. When he read that email, he responded immediately. He requested that I mail the client’s tax documents to a P.O. box! What?!Additionally, when first meeting Randall Pairett, he lied about having a physical office. He asked that I meet him at Starbucks down the street from his office saying to me, “the office Conference Room is booked”. I subsequently discovered that he does not have an office, and rents the Conference Room at 3630 FM 2181, Suite #103, Hickory Creek. A tenant there informed me that he used to have an office at that location. His lack of an office would be fine, except for the fact there is no way to track him down after he makes himself unavailable.I advise you, do NOT trust Randall Pairett with your personal information. He does not have an office, levies sky high prices to complete simple amendments and tax return work, and will withhold your documents until you pay whatever sum he decides is due.

Very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient Professional to work with‼️He is also a very caring person, I am so glad I found him. My family had a CPA that we used for years, when Sam Passed, I was sceptical of ever finding a non judgemental, and caring person to help me.God is good, he led me to Mr. Pairett. Thank you for your Service !

Randall charged us $4,000 to file our taxes for 2020 and 2021. It seemed steep to me but he sounded like he really knew what he was talking about. I found out months later through underwriting on a mortgage loan that he never filed them. He dodged my calls, texts, and emails for months. Finally he returned my text and filed HALF of my returns, then sent me a $2,000 invoice to be paid before he'll do the rest. $6,000 to file tax returns??! And he's holding us hostage. Do not use him. You can find someone way cheaper who's an honest person who won't screw you over.

I have been a sole proprietor hairdresser for many years and my husband has had his company for many years In construction as well, combined 45+ years. We have had multiple CPA’s work on our taxes. I used this company based on suggestions from a local app for two years now and will never use this company again. A 75% increase in doing taxes from last year to this year is unethical especially since nothing has changed except not having funds to pay due to the hardship of COVID-19. We actually were two days earlier than last year on paying the extension and last year we weren’t charged any penalties, it was only $750 last year. This year when I asked why a 75% increase in paying $1312.50 he said he increased his price without warning and that’s that. I am not only a hairdresser but I’m also a nurse and the money that I bring in does not constitute such a price gouge. No formula did he have to extensively exhaust to do our taxes. This guy would not even tell me if we were getting a refund until he was paid, he didn’t even offer to go over our return before paying and said we had to pay him before getting any knowledge of any information. What if he made a mistake and we wanted it corrected before sending?? All my other CPA’s have always given me knowledge on what was being done. I can see this is not how Randall does business, but as I have unfortunately come to learn I cannot do business with him. Please let me know for all you ladies out there, if I were to do a color and cut on your hair that I have continuously charged you only $100 and the next time you come in to get your hair done with no other formula or exceptions, increased my price to $175, and did not warn you about the price increase...how many ladies would return?? Nothing changed, no other hilites, nothing extra given??? Also, Kelsey S. Who works for Randall should be disqualified from reviewing since he is her boss, not a fair review. Also, after reviewing the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy it states that upon a clients request that the CPA shall provide a copy of the return even if the client has not paid. He actually said would not give me any information until I paid. I think I will be reporting to the board after this.

My parents have used Randall Pairett for their tax returns for several years with no issues (they are in their late 80s). We knew that his prices were higher than others, but his office is so convenient and he seems to know what he is doing. The 2018 tax year included a gift of equity to their children due the sale of a rental home and when asked about the tax implications Randall said it would just mean filing form 709 and it would not be a big deal. In reality, my parents received a bill for $975 when Randall normally charges $275 for a joint return. When I asked why the bill was more than 3 times the normal amount, he responded via email that it was for 2 tax returns as the gift tax returns have to be filed separately. When I questioned again why not $550, he responded by saying they are more difficult to do. (My own CPA says it takes about 10 minutes to complete). I emailed him in response to try to negotiate the price, since was so unexpected and unreasonably high. He basically said, the price is the price.

Mr. Pairett was very helpful in providing professional advice for my tax related issue. Instead of charging, he informed me how I could fix the issue at no cost. Will definitely use in the future if I need an accountant.
