Pickup/move date: 5/4/2021Original company name at the time was MoveSmart, then they changed their name in the summer of 2021,and moved warehouses. If I could give less than 1 star I would! Not only did I have to call them for every update, not only did I only get confirmation they would pick up 4 hours before our plane left (nearly making us miss our flight), but it's now been nearly THREE MONTHS and our belongings were never delivered to our new home. Every time I contact them, they say they're working on it, and they're waiting on a truck coming my direction. In nearly 3 months, for the thousands we've paid, they can't deliver from the east coast to the Midwest? NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!Update 10/1/2021We STILL have not received our belongings. Lawenforcement and attorneys are now in action because a farmer found a giant pile our stuff in a farm field in the middle of nowhere NC and reported it to authorities. Jamie says all our stuff is safe and they're still working on it, which is clearly a lie. Update 8/17/22A random guy driving a truck called me one afternoon later in October 2021 and said he had a truck load and that our belongings were a part of that load. They delivered that evening. About 75% of our original belongings were returned to us. And of that, about 50% of it was still usable. Everything else was broken or otherwise severely damaged, infested with rodents, or covered in filth. I'm glad the nightmare is over but I'm definitely missing some of our more precious items. Heirlooms, clothes, and a big screen HDTV to name a few.

Poor service: Not on time, did not show day scheduled, threw boxes down the stairs & refused to stop, when asked, refused to provide inventory. Lied about everything. I could write a chapter on the worst move ever! Stole large T-V and other items. Don't ever use them. Maybe out of business. Hope so. They owe me the settlement money. Called, incorrect numbers listed etc. Hope I've convinced the reader, never go with this company and never go with Mega Van who contracted this company. They also did not stand up to their contract with me. Wrote 2 letters to CEO who never responded. They too lied. Disastrous move. Big mistake from someone who has moved often as a military wife. Cannot believe what happened to me. Please don't use either company. Do not want anyone to experience what I went through.

First we did a run down of the rooms and what was in them, I was given a price and contract to sign. Two days before the move another guy calls to go through everything again, says that we changed some things, asks me to look at the list at the bottom of contract to confirm, keeps me on the phone and asks me to hurry up and review so they can get everything situated with the truck. Day of pickup they are telling me I owe more money. Can’t get ahold of either guys I spoke with. Called and left messages. Go back over the contract and see that the price was changed almost $5,000 more! The movers themselves did well enough. Minimal damage. If all of our items had been returned intact I would have happily eaten the extra expense. But their storage “facility” we were paying $450/month for was not climate controlled, the movers kept saying “warehouse”, we lost so many pieces of furniture and household items because they were full of mold. To top it all off, we only needed up moving to the other side of our neighborhood when our contract was for across the country and they would not adjust the price. Do Not Use this company.

Worst moving experience ever. Final cost ended up being more than double what was quoted and it took forever for us (over 2 weeks) to get our things when I was promised 3 days over the phone. They broke my sofa leg off and lost 1 of 4 legs for my nightstand -amongst other broken and lost items. Communication with the staff to check status was difficult. I would never EVER recommend this place. Like EVER. Run FAR away.

Planning to move? Thinking of calling Move Us to Relocation of Denton TX, DOT #3174388? Run as fast as you can to another company. Any quote they give you, roughly double it and that's what you will likely be paying. At least that is my story, my binding estimate for total expenses was $3302.70 (I was falsely reassured by the word binding); what I actually paid in total was $6213.00. After they started to load my items on the truck. I was told how much more it's going to cost ($2,910.30 in addition to the $3302.70 binding estimate) of which they needed $2,412.00 immediately before they would continue with my interstate move. The rest they would kindly let me pay upon delivery. This means I had now already paid $3512.00 (more than the total binding estimate of 3302.70), and my items were just partly loaded onto a truck. My box count had not changed nor had my furniture multiplied from the time my estimate was quoted just 4 weeks prior. It's difficult and expensive to reschedule an interstate move! A new apartment had been rented and hotels had been reserved across five nights in different states. If I went with another company at this point, I would lose all of my moving deposit ($1,100.00), pay additional rent for the apartment I would continue to live in, (if the apartment was still available; otherwise, I could have been facing lots of nights in hotels as the time from estimate to availability for moving was about 4 weeks) pay additional rent on the empty apartment I was supposed to move to, pay for canceled hotel rooms, not to mention living with all of your stuff in boxes until all is worked out. I was potentially faced with paying for a local mover to put my items in storage until a new move could be worked out. As you can see, it quickly becomes more expensive than it is just to pay what I considered ransom. They know they have you because they are not new to the game. Move Us to Relocation breached their contract by: failing to remove legs from my furniture to prevent in-transit damage, failing to properly pad and protect my furniture from damage, and refusing to reassemble all of my furniture upon delivery, I was literally told, "we don't have all week!" even though this was clearly included in my contract. Being disabled and living alone made that important to me. Don't let them tell you there is no need to buy insurance, that they've got you covered and it is included in the estimate, this only prevents you from filing a claim with a reputable insurance company who would in turn seek recovery from Move Us To Relocation... sadly not one of the things I thought of myself while trying to arrange a move across the country as a disabled single person. They will refer your complaint to a company that is supposed to resolve any problems called Moving Claims, it will keep you busy long enough to run out the statute of limitations for filing a lawsuit or other complaints with state or national officials. After my move, the odds of getting someone to answer the phone at Move Us To Relocation was extremely slim. I could not leave a voicemail, as they were full. The only way I was able to get through to anyone was by calling and leaving a message like I wanted an estimate to move (as a new customer); the only voicemail that wasn't full. The estimated cost of my lost and damaged items is $6887.59. Move Us to Relocation recently sent me an offer to settle in the amount of $50 for "my inconvenience". This was after, "close and careful consideration" of my complaint. If I accept any settlement, I have to agree to drop all insurance claims, all complaints filed including the BBB, and all social media posts. Moving Claims no longer responds to my e-mails. When I ask for an update on my case, I get an email with a link to a form to fill out to get the current information. But nothing ever shows up, I never get an email, I never get a call, nothing happens. I thought I was following the correct process but it seems the only accomplishment was running out the statute

Where do I start. Stay away from this company along with Van Lines Express or Sirius Van Lines (the driver told us they change name often so not sure which you will get - but the address is 3630 FM2181 Hickory Creek, TX. From demands for additional money (in cash) before they would unload, to not having helpers available to unload, to the negligent services resulting in many of our items severely damaged/destroyed and then missing. Of course you expect dents and scratches and maybe even a few missing boxes, but the thousands of dollars of damages and of course now no one is answering the phone or returning our texts and the email I was given is not valid. In summary, stay away.

BEWARE - THIS IS A SHELL COMPANY FOR SIRIUS VAN LINES WHICH IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO CONDUCT INTERSTATE COMMERCE!!! Despite the fact that Sirius Van Lines is NOT supposed to be conducting interstate commerce, it continues to do so. The Better Business Bureau posted a notice stating that the company's license had been revoked by the Department of Transportation - Federal Motor Carriers Administration on or about July 21, 2021. Since that time, Sirius Van Lines, which has been in possession of my household goods and personal effects since June 10, 2021m transported those items from Richmond, California to North Carolina and from there to Newport News, Virginia. DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They are not responsive and then, when it comes time to deliver your household goods, they will try to extort the final payment from you by refusing to release your stuff. Although I contracted my move with Perennial Van Lines, a moving brokerage out of Florida, they subcontracted the move with Sirius Van Lines. I have had issues with them from day one. Below is the text of an email demonstrating this company's abject incompetence and lack of responsiveness. (Tp-date, I still have NOT received a response to this email even though it was sent to the company on June 14, 2021.) Sir or Madam: On Thursday, June 10, 2021, three movers associated with your company came to my home on Richmond, CA to pack my household items into one of your trucks as part of moving my items from California to mapper Newport News, Virginia. It was a very hectic day since I was only notified on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 9, 2021 that your movers would be retrieving my household items on Thursday. The movers were at my home from about 3pm until 3 am. At some point during the move, one of the movers made a comment about how his boss sent him somewhere without yelling him where he was going. He walked off the job soon thereafter. At around 9:30 or 10 pm, as it started to get dark, I walked thru my backyard with the guy who was supervising the moving crew and pointed out the items that were to be loaded onto the moving truck. The two items in question were a Nexgrill Griddle & Grill, and a patio set consisting of a table and two benches, one of which was backless and armless. I advised the supervisor that, of the items to be packed in my backyard, the griddle was the most important stove it was a birthday present that I purchased for myself in July 2020--during the height of the pandemic. I then went back inside of my house to continue packing the items that hadn't been packed prior to the movers arriving. On the morning of June 11, 2021, I looked outside my back window and saw that the griddle was still there. It had been turned upside down and a green tag--one similar to those being used by your moving crew--had been attached to the cover on the grill. That number is 377. Upon noticing that my griddle had not been loaded onto the trick, I called the customer support line at least 14 times between Friday and Saturday. I spoke with a CSR on Friday who advised me that she was going to contact the California movers and advice them of the oversight. I never heard anything from the California movers. On Saturday, I spoke with gentleman who supervised the move. I told him about the issue and he seemed to be concerned about it." On June 14, 2021, I received a call from Jaime Colt, a CSR with Sirius Van Lines, who is based out of North Carolina regarding an the fact that one of their employees made homophobic comments to and about my spouse. She feigned concern and told me that she would follow up with me by the end of the week (June 18, 2021). To-date, I have not received a response from her regarding that issue. In an email to me date August 18, 2021, I received an email from her (in response to an email from me since she failed to follow up with me regarding a call from the day before regarding arranging delivery of my household goods), Jaime advised me that my household good were in transit to me and that, since I would not be abl

I really would like my furniture. The original contract I have is through Sirius Van Lines with the same phone number as Move Us relocation. Items were picked up on June 16. As of this date I have received nothing. I cannot even get through on the phone. Sad to say, but maybe I need to contact an attorney which I would rather not do and would rather have my furniture. If someone from the past company would contact me, it would be appreciated.

It took me over a month to get my belongs and then when i was told them would be here on a particular Saturday or Sunday they were not. In addition to that my couches were no longer in the protective furniture bags that they were in while being store. i asked why they were no longer in those bags and was told they had no idea why the actual movers removed them from the bag. I will neve use this company again.Service: Out-of-county removals

I used this moving company to move from Texas to Florida back in July. They arrived late for pick up and didn't even call to let me know, I had to call them. Then, when I wanted my stuff delivered in August the delivery date I gave them was considered the "first available date" for delivery. I called several times and no one would tell me when my things would be delivered or where they even where. Finally, my stuff was delivered in September. They again arrived late and didn't call, I had to. The boxes I used were brand new, but when they delivered them they were completely destroyed. They caused about $500 in damages. I filed my complaint in October and was offered $68.00 through their $0.60/lbs policy in December. I accepted because any money is better than no money. I have not received my settlement. I filed a BBB complaint in April and was told they would "look into it and get back to me," they haven't. All I want is for them to follow their own policy and give me the money they owe me. I followed the process, I signed all the paperwork, I've emailed them and their third party claims company multiple times and no one will give me a straight answer. I left them a 1 star review on the BBB website, if I could give them 0 stars I would.

Terrible company we were forced to use through another moving company. Move Us To Relocation did not even know where our shipment was and never told us they were going to put our shipment into storage for over 4 weeks!! We were told our shipmemt would be picked up and loaded onto a truck and then brought to our delivery address and it would take between 16-24 days after pick up to arrive. My husband and I called several times over the course of a couple weeks after it had already been over 4 weeks since we had arrived to our delivery address and had not heard a single word from the company about any delays or such with our shipment. When we finLly got a hold of someone we were told our shipment had been put into storage and they were not able to find a truck to take our shipment from california to upstate new york. He told us he would notify us when our shipment had left california, but he did not. Instead my husband and I had to keep calling and then two days before our shipment finally arrived we were told by the same person(Nigel) that our shipment was still in california and he still did not know when it would be shipped. Our shipment arrived two days after that phone call but showed up with only one guy to unlpad everything. My husband had to help unload yet we still had to pay $75 extra because of stairs inside our house!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY DO NOT USE!!!

Unhelpful, Rude, Delivery 7 Weeks Late, and Items Damaged/MissingBy far the most unhelpful, and careless "business" I have EVER worked with. From pickup, to communication, to storage, to billing, to drop off, these people did not get a single thing right. I waited 7 weeks for my items after calling daily to move things forward but apparently the company would "lose money" by sending my stuff to me. If that was the case, why did they take the job? They are blaming the inability to schedule a delivery on Covid, despite them accepting the job in MAY, the height of quarantine. When I did get my items after, once again, seven weeks of pulling teeth from rude and uncooperative people, I was missing several items and others were damaged. How these people are still operating is a mystery, one that anyone who reads this should help to close. DO NOT GIVE YOUR ITEMS AND MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE!!!Full Experience:I was given a two day window with times of when they would show up. On the last day of the window given to me, I tried to reach out to find when the movers would come but even after multiple calls to the moving company, no one responded. It wasn't until two hours after they were scheduled to be there that I finally got a hold of someone (no one reached out to me). They informed me that the movers would be several hours late due to an issue with renting the truck. I explained to them that this is not what was agreed upon and that by them being so late without any advance notice, I would now owe my apartment extra rent for not vacating by their agreed upon time. A deadline I would have easily made had the movers arrived when I was promised they would. What I find to be the most upsetting and disrespectful aspect of not being able to get in touch with them is that if I called and asked for a quote instead of customer service, I would reach a human instantly, but if I chose to speak with customer service, no one would ever answer. The movers then show up on 06/07/2020, EIGHT hours after the originally agreed upon time and end up charging me for costs that I was told by the booking company I used, verbatim, I would not be charged for, such as the number of flights of stairs in my unit. The movers stated that my booking company does not have the authority to make claims on what I would and wouldn't pay. So it is clear that these people cannot be bothered to follow a contract. The movers gave me their contract, of which I filled out the applicable parts, and stated they would email me this contract for my records, yet another promise made by this company which they did not deliver on. I did follow up with them asking for copies of the contract but have gotten no resolution. As such, I cannot even look over the contract to see who is in the right. I asked when I could expect my items and was told by the mover, word for word, "It's not about our availability, its about when you need us. We'll be there when you tell us you need your stuff". This question is important as not a single person from from this company set up any expectation of when I could get my belongings. When I was able to finally get my stuff, the movers were once again late and I noticed some of my belongings were straight up missing (I wonder how much money they'll make from selling items they stole from me), and others were damaged. Boxes were crushed and furniture was scratched and warped. Clearly this company does not know how, or cannot afford to transport and store items correctly.Throughout the 7 WEEKS I have waited, I have made several calls to someone by the name of Thomas who the movers told me to contact to set up a delivery. This individual would go weeks without returning my calls or messages, even after stating he would follow up with an update. He was also rude and unwilling to answer my questions. At one point he even straight up hung up on me. I also spoke once to a man named Jake who gave me his personal line and still ignored every single one of my follow up messages. This company is a joke and a rip

I wish I could give a 0 star review on this if I could . Horrible service. We are still waiting on our furniture to be delivered from Charlotte to Pensacola and it is day 20 of being tossed around and given different dates and expectancy arrivals . My wife is pregnant and going to be having the baby in July and we are here in Florida Waiting soon this lying company to finally show up . We also have our 1 year old boy with us who is having to sleep on the floor for this past time . Our initial delivery people said they would have I here within the first 3 days after delivery or maybe even the day after picking our things up on May 4th . Then we tried calling numerous times to Jamie under the phone number 704-912-8220 , which she only answered once in the 50 calls we have given her after around 15 days . I ended up calling headquarters a week and a half ago and they said that our truck would leave for Florida on Monday (one week ago ) and that she would call us Monday morning to let us know exactly when it will be at our house ... We still haven't received a call and tried calling headquarters again several times and they don't answer so I guess they most likely blocked my number . It is just completely unacceptable behaviour for a company to do this . Also they won't even let us know at what location our furniture is . It pretty much feels like they have stolen our furniture . I have been waiting here the whole time for them and need to make another trip up to Charlotte to grab some important things that I left there which I need to start work down here but since they are giving me the run around , they have me stuck at home waiting for their arrival which could be never for all we know and we are getting ready to get lawyers and law inforcement involved . I never in my life would think that a moving company could be so cruel . We didn't get to choose this company , as we we're sub contracted to them from another company which was horrible also (called All Pro movers) I am starting to thing that these companies are one of the same and just pass people along to make it seam like they are different . So that company took our 1000 dollars , did nothing at all and passed us on and doesn't want to give that money back . My advice for anyone EVER thinking about booking these companies ... DONT even think about it .. I will keep you all informed with any further misery that they put us through and will be posting more reviews for this company every place I possibly can so no one else gets pushed around this way . Let's hope that we get our 1 year olds crib and the new coming baby before my wife goes into labor . Hopefully she gets to sleep on an actual bed too .. I could go on and on about what vision of another person's shoes your company can not even think about seeing a side of . - George P.
