We Stopped in going to Pueblo from Dallas and so glad we did. The best most tender ribeye steak I’ve ever had. The cheese bacon burger was delicious. Left with some rocky road fudge, blueberry bread and beef jerky. Definitely putting it on our stop from Dallas to Pueblo.

Stopped in this place yesterday afternoon on our way to Whichita Falls, Tx because we saw the signs for beef jerky, which my husband absolutely loves. So we didn't eat lunch there but instead bought some beef jerky and a little loaf of blueberry bread. Absolutely the best beef jerky I have ever had!! My husband likes his jerky to be really hard and almost crunchy which I on the other hand like mine to be more soft but not too chewy. It is exactly in the middle, not too hard but not too soft either. It's like pieces of steak that was cut just right and cooked with the right amount of flavoring then dried for the perfect amount of time. They have thin sliced and thick slices jerky as well as regular or spicy. If you like beef jerky, you should try it yourself and see if it is what you like, you just might be surprised and like it. Oh, and the blueberry loaf is good too!!! Might actually try lunch next time we stop by. The people working there were really nice and helpful in showing us what they had available, I didn't even look that closely at what else they had in the front display case. Had I seen homemade fudge I would've bought some. . It's a interesting place, looks like a old country store/small town restaurant with a small town charm to it.

Do NOT stop here if you're a person of color. F****** blatant rudeness and was ignored 3x. First when I said HI. Again when I wanted to buy some fudge. Lady just goes to the back. Just left. Disgusting. Can't say I'm shocked. Gotta love East bum f Texas.

My wife and I stopped here on our way through and we're sooooo glad we did!!! We stopped because we saw signs of jerky but we got sooo much more!! Their chopped brisket sandwich was fantastic!! I enjoyed the hotlink sandwich! We also got some of their delicious fudges && fried pies!! They were certainly worth the wait!! The sweet lady, Kathryn, was working there was awesome!! She was there by herself working in the back and the front & made us feel very welcome & appreciated. She even gave our pup that we had outside a delicious treat!! We are very very glad we had this wonderful pit stop that brightened our day! She deserves a raise!!! Also they have awesome locally made candles, spices and sauces! Be sure to stop here!!

After pulling off the road, my mom and I debated going in with the baby. It looks a little sketchy from the outside but the inside is adorable and probably the best brisket burrito I've ever had. Clean. Cute tables to sit out. Gifts. And great customer service. Will be going back for sure if I'm driving out that way again. Don't leave without the banana bread. I wish I bought the blueberry bread too!

Walked in to use the bathroom and looked around. The guy was very welcoming. Got the rocky road fudge and tiger swirl, as well as a beef stick. The fudge was very good, and the beef stick was comparable to a slim jim. The bags of jerky were about $8 at the cheapest price.

Based only on their advertised three dollar bbq sandwich. Arrived at 11:55am. There were 3 other customers and only one person working everything. Felt bad for her. The sandwich. The meat tasted boiled. No smoke flavor. The meat was very sponge like. The splash of greasy tomato sauce added nothing to the taste. The bun was cold and soggy from the meat and mystery sauce. I don't know about any of their other items but not willing to try them now.

The meals seemed overly priced. And my food was so salty especially the potatoes they weren't edible. However the brisket was good . But my dog got sick from eating the chicken I didn't try it. I won't go back there to eat again!

If you are passing through Texas this is a great place to stop for bbq sandwiches and hot link sandwiches. $3 each. Homemade fudge and fried pies. Antiques and Texas stuff.
