We were in a seventeen hour long drive from Denver, Colorado to Quitman, Texas and this place was absolutely magical for our three year old. It’s free of charge. The dinosaurs are made of a rubber latex material that flexes so you can move the tails and arms a bit. Grab some gas. Get some food at Steak and Shake or Texas Best. Use the restroom at the Shell. But if you have toddlers, do yourself a favor and let them have some time with the dinosaurs.

Love this place. Clean restrooms, friendly staff & all around great stop for truckers. Only 2 showers so keep that in mind but for fuel, food and a place to stay the night grab a spot because it's limited parking.

This was cool, just make sure you don’t reroute your trip for this. I would definitely recommend for a good spot to fill up, grab something to eat and snap a couple of pictures.

This life-size procession of dinosaurs is located in the parking lot of the Texas Best Smokehouse and Shell Service Station off of U.S. 287 and Highway 148. There's a herd of life-size dinosaurs including an Allosaurus, Spinosaurus, and Brachiosaurus. Some of the dinosaurs move a bit - heads up and down, tails side to side - so it's very cute.I don't understand why, but do I really need to? It's interesting and worth a stop as you're driving between Fort Worth and Wichita Falls.[Review 16123 overall - 302 in Texas - 1628 of 2021.]
