“I was in Goodwill on 2/20/2024 around 5:30pm and there was a woman and her sister shopping. They were looking for clothes and the sister was getting disappointed and saying she “looked fat in anything but sweat pants”. The woman convinced the sister to try on a pair of pants. Sister comes out of the dressing room telling her sister “I told you I was too fat for this”. A Goodwill employee named Lashawder was standing close by and tells the sister, “ you are beautiful in those pants.” The employee then takes the time to help the two ladies find more pants and shirts that the sister would like. This employee didn’t have to say a word, but just by her simple act of kindness you could tell the sister had a little more confidence about herself when she left. Great job Lashawder.”
