While waiting for our granddaughter to finish testing at PVAMU, we wanted to get something to eat nearby. That led us to Krispy Krunchy Chicken and their website, where I watched a video created by the owner. And, as a lover of fried chicken, I was persuaded by his description of the recipe to give it a try. Because, why not? Some of the best tasting foods are found in gas stations, just not this time. I was sooo disappointed by the taste that was sadly lacking the flavor of seasoning and the marinade that he was talking about in the video. The honey buttered biscuit was good at first bite, but I've had better. I won't be eating there again. However, it was said in the video that he sold his recipe to friends who wanted to get in the business, and I believe that therein lies the rub, if you will. Everybody's not a cook, and if you're just in it to make money and have no real love for what you're doing, this review is what you get. But, and if you love cooking and watching people enjoy the explosion of flavor that dances across their taste buds, well rave reviews are what you'll get every time. The gas station was clean and roomy, and if you want to dine in, that's an option. They also serve Mexican food according to the sign on the building. Simply put, I don't recommend the chicken. 12-8-'23 IMO Heads-up!! extremely Expensive I wanted a cold soft drink. My husband bought me a 7-UP 20 Oz. and one package of 2 cakes Twinkies. He paid $6.27 for 2 items. No prices marked in store. Expensive convenience store. A little Down the road not as expensive.

It's a really helpful place for gas,Has hot food like fried chicken, Mexican ? food,and a place to sit inside to eat . Clean restrooms.A Nice,and clean washingteria next door same owners.Very Clean

Go anywhere else. Everything they sell is fake, used, or expired. They don’t give receipts then tell you it’s your fault that you don’t have one when you try to return or exchange.

I visited fuel maxx gas station (Chevron) today. There was only one employee in the front of the store/eatery. This employee was working the cash register. I waited patiently for someone to wait on me at the food station where hot meals were served. After minutes of just standing there patiently I went to the line where the cashier was ringing up customers. When I reached the front of the line , I asked for food from the other side. The cashier was willing to wait on me until I ask him politely if he would change the gloves he had on from handling money at the register. He then called another employee from the back of the store. This gentleman also refused to put on clean gloves. He became rude and very disrespectful. I refused to spend my money where employees practice cross contamination at a customer’s expense. I will warn the community not to eat from this place until changes are made to benefit everyone’s safety . WARNING ⛔️
