The store itself is clean and usually well stocked.
DO NOT use their grocery pick up service. I used to have no problems but the last 4 times I’ve had nothing but problems with being overcharged, pick ups not being ready until 4 hours later, missing half of my $300 order, or straight up getting someone else’s order. I had to use their chat system to receive a refund on my last order I didn’t get as I live an hour away and couldn’t go back. It’s been 3 WEEKS and I have yet to receive any refund after chatting with 3 different people who keep telling me the problem was solved and to wait for it to hit my bank. I used to love Tom Thumb stores but at this point I’m never using them again I’d rather use Kroger.

Nice store, kept clean. Little expensive, and smaller so with reduced selection, but it offers good higher end products, with a good meat and bakery department.

Honestly so disappointed in the selection of Organic options the seafood is bar none the worst I bought 6 lbs of shrimp and opted to throw it away. If you go back in store and walk by the seafood counter you can still smell the same smell of old fish.

While I like this Tom Thumb the shady pricing schemes are a big turn off. They will have a price displayed as half of what it will ring up as. Then they will say well that’s the wrong item, when there was no alternative of the item on the shelf. They count on no one catching or saying anything. The manager has also been caught forcing some kids of color “repay” for drinks they came into the store drinking.

Totally agree about how this store has declined especially recently. Examples are: pickup orders (not being fulfilled or major items missing), no carts several times, meat and produce department have declining quality, store being stocked in the middle of their busiest times, check out lines not open when super busy with management just passing by and ignoring. This store's management is always blaming the employees and offering solutions and then not following though...if its a present issue that is not getting resolution, than look at who is managing the store. The two areas I will say were always great was the pharmacy and floral department. I have taken all purchases and needs to other Tom Thumbs or their competitors after being a very faithful weekly customer since they opened.

Man, I usually don't do these but I'm burning a hole in the ground right now. The Starbucks in this Tom Thumb NEEDS to have at least two people in there on the weekend. I along with several others just walked out because it was taking this poor kid behind the counter FOREVER to process drinks, the guy was even having to use que cards to get the recipes right, then he was kind of just walking around in a circle trying to figure out what to do. That is the LAST time I go there when I'm in any kind of a hurry. I hope that somebody actually reads this, or people are going to keep walking out. If you don't believe me check your camera. :0(

We love the store. But I don't recommend using their delivery services. Our last 2 orders were never delivered but they still charged us for them. After the first order I went to the store and customer service told me to talk to the pick up and delivery department. The person working at the time tried to issue the refund but the system declined it. He said after he took a pick up order out he would escalate it to his manager that wasn't there and he would refund it. A week later we placed a second order. It did not get delivered. I called and this time was able to speak to a manager that I believe was named Tracy. She listened to my issue and then said hold on and transferred me to the pick up and delivery department. The person working said it needed to be handled by their manager Jacob who wasn't there. She gave me his number. I called and left him a voicemail. He never called me back. So now I have disputed the charges and left this review. It is a shame that I was not able to get this resolved prior to this. So buyer beware when trying to get groceries delivered from the Heath Tom Thumb. They will charge you and possibly not deliver the order.

Very clean, well-organized and good management. However, I am deducting a star because of outrageous prices. I live 2 minutes from this store and rarely shop there because they are so over-priced. I'm talking $6 for a bag of chips and over $5 for a small box of mac and cheese. Produce is high too. Probably 30-50% higher. I feel they assume everyone around here is made of money? I don't know but it's a big turn-off. I stick to Kroger and will be making the drive to HEB when they build one in Rockwall (coming 2025). No thank you to these prices!

Dozens of instances of being mischarged. Last mistake was over 10% of the total bill. (Approx $25) READ your receipt diligently every time you visit. Will start posting photos of corrected receipts soon!

This last year I have noticed three things: product missing from the shelves ( grape jelly, Powerade zero and stove top cleaner. 2.The quality of the produce has declined 3 constantly asking for donations. When I say no then it’s what about your change? I use to go several times a week can’t donate each time. Groceries are at an all time high and mainly I donate to my own charities. So I will no longer use this store as my primary grocery store. Thanks for the 20+ years.

Terrible service. Don't ever use their drive up and go shopping option. They continuously forget your items and know how to waste your time. Shop somewhere else to save headaches.
