“Been going to Avondale Hazlet Animal Clinic since moved to Texas 3 years ago. They have successfully operated on my Great Dane for cancer twice and happy to say that she's cancer free for the last year and a half. The staff and doctors are amazing.”
“We had a German Shepherd for 11 years. During that time, we saw four different vets. None of the vets wanted to work with our girl, calling her an “elephant” or “too dangerous”. One vet would not see her unless she was sedated. Parkside was the last place we went. Our dog was in her last days and Parkside vets were knowledgeable and caring. They did everything to make the dog comfortable and spent a lot of time explaining the process. It was a good experience during a difficult time. I recommend them.”

“Dr. Griffin was so gentle and loving to our 8 month old Bernese. She was practically on the floor with him, getting him comfortable in a new atmosphere. She addressed all of our concerns and got him everything he needed! When our lab results came back, she even personally called me to discuss the results. “My cats have seen Dr. Chris Peek at Davis Blvd Animal Clinic for many years, and we have always had the very best care from both Dr. Peek and the staff. The receptionists always greet us very warmly and compassionately, and it’s clear they love the pets, too! One of the techs, Troy, has been there a long time and is a real treasure. He is so amazing with the animals and has such a kind and calming demeanor. I cannot say enough about Dr. Peek. He’s not only an experienced and skilled veterinarian, but he’s so compassionate and caring towards both the pets and clients. He explains everything, and I have never felt like any unnecessary procedures have been done. This clinic is very reasonably priced, too! DBAC has been such a blessing to me and my cats.”

“Such an excellent experience, from the reception desk, to the Tech Roberto, and especially Dr. Simon. This location is amazing. Dr. Simon was so well mannered and his knowledge, experience and care for animals was very evident. He performed a thorough but gentle exam on my dog and gave me his expert opinion and multiple options for treatment even looking up good rx coupons for me to get her medication cheaper. He didn't rush through the appointment and really made me feel like my dog was important and I could tell how much he cares about his patients. The appointment was affordable and i was able to get bloodwork done also because the pricing was so reasonable, I'll definitely be recommending this location of penny paws to friends and family and I'll be back for my dogs care myself.”

“I have a dog I adopted 10 years ago. Over the years she has become more and more crippled. I took her to 4 different vet and had no answer as to why. I seriously thought I was going to have her put down. Thank you Dr Metcalf! You saved her life! He was the first to not guess but took x-rays of her legs and offered her a monthly shot along with an anti inflammatory. You would not believe how her life changed. She has not done stairs or ran in at least 4 years. She now has gone up and down stairs on her own and chased the other 2 dogs. Thank you so much Dr Metcalf.”

She is absolutely amazing and is the reason we keep going back. Make the right choice for your fur babies and use this clinic!!”
“My dog’s appointment was such a great experience I don’t know where to start!
1) the waiting room is really well designed so if you have reactive dog there are places to go so he/ she has space. There is a dog run behind the receptionist desk so you avoid dogs sitting in the waiting room and if that isn’t enough space there is door to the outside right by the exam room and the vet tech sat with my dog while I paid and we snuck out the side door.
2) They ran on time.
3) possibly the most important part of the review so I should have made it 1st!!! Dr Wallace Graham is the kindest vet I have been privileged enough to work with. I’m so grateful for how well he worked my high anxiety dog, I teared up in the car. I have paid ridiculous fees to see a vet that was “fear free certified professional” and they weren’t as good with Oliver as Dr. Wallace. I’m a software engineer by education and not a vet but from one person that problem solves for a living to another, I felt really comfortable and trusted the way he thought through concerns with my dog and I appreciated his way of explaining them to me so I could make optimal choices.
4) the front desk staff is very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and organized.
5) VCA’s prices are fair. Not the cheapest. Not the most expensive.
6) it’s a private parking lot not a shopping center so I felt really safe getting in and out of my car with my dog.
Conclusion: I feel really confident recommending any one booking an appointment here for their beloved dog(s)!!! I hope this helps! I know vet care is such an important decision.”
“Great experience and service I received from Dr Skees! He is great along with staff member who checked me real pet lovers. I did not feel that it was all about the money as I feel when I visit other vets for my pets. Dr Skees is very knowledgeable and he cares and is not trying to get over on you and your fur baby. He only recommends what he feels is necessary for your pet and not a ton of unnecessary test that cost lots of money just for you to leave feeling bad that you can’t afford the extra test the other clinics throw at you just to get money. I felt so good leaving knowing that my baby got seen by a Dr that really cares. I have senior dogs and we need more caring l doctors like Dr Skees. Thank you I will bring my fur babies here anytime they are not feeling well because he cares about getting my baby better and it’s not about the dollars.”

“I absolutely had to write a review about this Veterinary Clinic; they are wonderful. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. We moved and we needed to get a medication refill for our dog. Every other vet clinic would have told us we needed an appointment, and that we had to see one of the vets. But not here, we were able to do a weight check and pick the medication up at the same time. Their price was similar to Costco’s and they actually had it in stock. We are so happy we found this place and we know we will have a long, fruitful relationship. Great team of people taking special care of our beloved animal family members.”
