“They were kind and they took my dog on the same day that I called to ask for an appointment. They had a very clean facility . They were thorough. They are way pricier than the vet I usually go to . That being said, I will be taking my dogs here and would recommend them based of the service that we received and the way they treated my dog. Sometimes service beats price .”

“I went today for the first time to this place since it was near my workplace and I can't afford to miss too much work. It did take me almost 2 hours from my set appointment to be seen, but i guess it's better than nothing.
At first, i did walk in and notice the place was small and the receptionist already looked a bit annoyed (one of them anyway), the other one was trying to be nice.
I was trying to stay quiet and give it a chance in my head while i waited, but two people were called in before me even though one showed up 10 minutes after me and the other 30 minutes after me. I showed up 15 min early to sign paper work, and yet somehow was seen last.
But aside from this, the vet doctor herself was nice and the one who attended me was professional. I am pleased with the visit with them but I would suggest that the receptionist be more clear with people coming in, especially if it's your first time. If she would have just said to me that there were other people with appointments at 11am and that I might be seen last because I was new and it takes time to enter my info in the system, I would have mentally prepared. But if you don't tell us anything, all we see is people who came after us going in before us. You feel like you are purposely being ignored or something. So, i suggest they be clear upfront and not assume that we know how it all works.
Look forward to having a better experience next time, though i hope there won't be because i would rather my pets be healthy and not need a visit to the vet.
One more thing, the receptionist looked at me like i was being entitled when i asked if they could give me a courtesy call when my turn is up since they were bombarded, but actually my other vet that i usually go to, they do that. When they are packed and they see pets as a first come first serve basis, they give you a courtesy call to let you know when your pet is going to be next. Other vets do that also. Just a suggestion that if you are all busy and stressed, you could just tell people, "Look it's probably going to be another hour, why don't you get a bite to eat and we'll call you few minutes before your turn. Just don't go too far."
So, it's not a request of entitlement as you can see. But it might help release stress from both the client and theh receptionist. Just a thought.”

“I have a pet pig “mini” kunekune mix that has been sick for over a week. She had high RR and difficulty breathing. My husband and I took her to her vet which sees farm animals and had been going there since she was a year old. The issue is that they aren’t experienced with pigs so we weren’t satisfied, we took our girl two times and they could not give her a diagnosis. Anyways, we were so worried and tried calling as many places and found the county vet. We spoke to the belle which was very helpful and she told us to bring our pig in right away. The whole visit took about 1 hour or less and immediately Dr. John saw her and immediately pointed out her breathing and said what we already thought but couldn’t confirm, he did by quickly checking her and was very knowledgeable which was awesome. Dr.John was with us the whole time and made us feel at ease, we are so grateful that he treated our lady ? as quick as he did. Thank you Dr.John and all the team that assisted in my pigs care.”

“OMG, this office is great. The staff is so friendly and so is the doctor. Office genuinely cares. My Yorkie suddenly got sick. I called every vet in Brownsville literally, and no one could see her. My Yorkie is family. I called the vet in Combs and one in San Benito. San Benito referred me to Paws and Claws. My furbaby is much better thanks to Paws and Claws. I would recommend them without reservations.”

“They have definitely improved dice the bad review I left about my dogs care back in 2017, but gave rhem another shot with our newest adopted kitten getting him neutered. Price was decent, good service and my lil buddy did great! I would recommend them. PS I know a lot of folks fault the with bad injection and not knowing what they are doing, but I opted to give Precious pain meds for the procedure and it went very well. Give em a shot, I was happy, and I'm picky when it comes to vets because I used to work in the medical field at Valley Baptist as a CNA @ 4th floor South tower.”
