Bought a car 4/10/24. 2017 VW Passat just gave my 2nd payment and car left me stranded on the road with a bad transmission on 6/14/24. I’ve put only 5350 miles since purchase be aware of the cars you are buying and check and read the contract where they say they are not responsible for the car not been fit for a particular duty.
Now I have to pay more than 2k to put a new transmission.

I strongly suggest you guys that nobody buy or attempt to purchase a car from Tarpon auto sales on South commerce in Harlingen. The owner is a crazy cat lady. The office smells like pneumonia from all the cats, and she lies to her financial company stating that a car is on a lot when it’s been bought and sold already and she sends threading emails when she doesn’t get her way. I had to return my 2014 Nissan Ultima that was bought by my mother and give them to me to use while they are away. I had to return it today due to that the lady was being uncooperative, and she stated to her financial company that the car was in the shop when in reality it was in my possession. This lady is a scammer. It should be behind bars, so I repeat, do not under any circumstances attempt to purchase any vehicle from Tarpon auto sales on South commerce in Harlingen you guys have been warned. Is this the kind of person u want to do business with someone who threatens u and then lies to her financial company about a car that’s been bought already but tells them it’s in the shop getting repaired.

Bought this 2012 Nissan Maxima @Tarpon Auto Sales in September 2021..The owner (Linda ) was very helpful in getting it financed for me..Leather interior 72, 000 original miles ..12 speaker Bose sound system ..High performance engine....and the list of plus keeps going.I definitely recommend Tarpon auto if you're searching for a good vehicle.

Linda was simply amazing. After my husband and I spent what felt like ALL day talking with different dealerships and getting denied, she (and those beautiful cats) said YES. Those three letters meant the world to me. She allowed me to not only test drive the vehicle, but made sure I got the best deal the banks could offer. I would recommend her over and over. This is the place you want to be when you need a vehicle!! Husband and I are TOTALLY satisfied!!

The lady refused to let me test drive a car she said you can drive it when you buy it the lady said it's 2000 down but I can't test drive it her not knowing I had 8000 ready to give what a shame I guess but good luck on your business
