A World Left BehindOn January 9th I switched Cell phone carriers from T-Mobile to Spectrum and although the phone service is good the Customer Services, I have experienced has not been good. Customer Service Representative who was everything but Courteous, lacked bed side manners or people skills. His demeanor appears as if he does not like his job, but I told myself I would make the best of it (BIG MISTAKE).I needed to replace my Note 20 5G and requested the S24 Ultra in Amber however was told: “sorry, your only choice is the S23 Ultra in Black”. I asked when the S24 Ultra in Amber would be released. He said he did not know and there was already a 2 week back order on it so it may be a while. Being that I needed a phone I stupidly agreed to the S23 Ultra in Black, however, was sent to Brownsville to pick it up.Two weeks and the phone start glitching like a strobe light I called on Jan. 27th requesting to exchange the phone, they said sorry it was past my 14-day period which expired Jan. 23rd and that I had to contact the Warranty Department or pay a $250.00 deductible.I was asked to contact two repair stores one in Edinburg and one in Mc Allen both said they did not have any parts for the S23 Ultra.My phone screen was black, and I could not take or make calls. I went into Spectrum several times until I was assisted by a representative who appeared willing to help, he recommended I contact CPR Cell Phone Repair in Harlingen. I was greeted by Cesar who was very helpful and instructed me how and where to file the insurance claim. I was charged $30.00 to replace the screen, super simple and easy in less than a total of 45minutes and it was resolved. It was a bit frustrating just thinking of all the unnecessary hours making calls and running around the staff at Spectrum Store had me do, on top of the 10 days I was without a phone, how I wish Cesar worked at Spectrum, it would have saved me time and headaches dealing with the Spectrum Staff.As for the owner's response, it's as unapologetic, unsincere and genuine unpersonalized, it's a lazy cut and paste response to all your bad reviews. It's no wonder your staff are the way they are. They have a perfect example.FYI I've also submitted my review on your Facebook account.Thanks for nothing

The worst cable and internet company I have had and would NOT recommend to no one. When I first got services with them I went to their store and their was this guy that serviced us and I first mentioned to him basic cable the lowest internet. Totally opposite he took it upon himself to give me the most internet speed.,which I don't use nor need. The internet speed he gave me was for a gamer. And told me it would be best to have 3 boxes for three tvs I had so I could record. My bill was coming out @ 350 and up.. Ridiculous!! So I got online to look at the breakdown of my bill my internet was almost 200. I told the rep that why do the sales people there just assume when we told him just basic internet basic cable or the lowest speed of internet. Spectrum stop by my house on January 22, 2023 to pock up my equipment which they should have called me. Funny they are really good to add services and charging of something you didnt ask for. But today I received a triple amount of a bill from them because SPECTRUM DOESN'T TELL THE CUSTOMERS THAT THEY STILL CHARGE THE CUSTOMERS AFTER TURNING OFF THEIR SERVICES AND BILLING THEMAND EVEN THOUGH THEY GOT THEIR EQUIPMENT( WHICH I DON'T NEED AND WAS GONNA RETURN IT) BUT COMING TO MY HOME LIKE A SQUAT TEAM. SO THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME FOR THE EQUIPMENT THEY PICKED UP. BAD SERVICES AND CHEAT YOU OUT ON EVERYTHING.THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!

The speed of service is horrible. The wait is insane. There’s no sense of urgency to get the customer in and out. Plus they don’t ever have enough help. I’ve been a customer for a very long time, it’s sad to have to say this about Spectrum’s standards on customer service.

I hardly leave reviews but this guy was the worst, he was mad because he couldn’t find my account and ended being his fault (did not apologize). Then he forcefully started a fake conversation with us because he wanted to over charge us $100 for something I didn’t needed to pay for. These ppl feel entitled because for some things we have to go to them(in-store). Trust me if you can do it online, do it. They won’t rob you or mistreat you. Someone needs to call corporate on their bad service.

I went to make a payment and change my modem, I was waiting for an hour to get attended and when the lady at the counter was about to charge me ,another customer came inside and she left me to attend him, so I called her attention telling her that the other customer wasn’t in line and she said that he was there before and she was going to attend him . After a few minutes she came back to charge me but I can tell that she was in a bad mood. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen, I tried to talk to the manager but then I remember that the whole hour that I was waiting i noticed that all the employees at the counter were taking so much time to call people and talking between them all the time , I guess they’re not interested in help people as soon as they can.My recommendation would be that they should have some people to help with the phone sales and other people for internet purposes because when people are trying to get a phone they take too much time to decide

I wish that the phone stores would still assist customers to transfer their data from one phone to the other. Now I have half of my stuff on the old phone and half on the new and I have to carry both.

If u come here in person, be ready to wait at least 10-15. What's worse is there's times there's no one else ahead of u and they'll have 4 workers just standing there talking to each other. But if ur willing to wait, they will eventually help u with ur Internet/Cable needs.
