Cynthia was AMAZING. Could not imagine ANYONE else assisting us through this life event.
She was caring, patient, and understanding. She was thorough and both sympathetic and empathetic.
When we made the call, she was not even working, rushed over and spent almost two hours with us.
Not that I wish this experience on anyone.
I can only imagine you are reading this through blurry eyes. I'm sorry for you and your family, but you can trust Rudy Garza Funeral Home to take care of you and your loved one.

I don't think I ever truly understood the point of a funeral, but I get it now. They did such a lovely job with the body. Until i saw him lying there, dressed well and looking well, I didn't realize how much I had been affected by his gaunt look in the last few months and his terrifying look in his hospital bed. Im really so grateful for the work they put into making him look nice because I feel like it settles something in me.Our service was also a little chaotic because we have most of our family and his friends overseas. So while there were still people coming and going in person, we were also very preoccupied with doing what we needed to involve all those loved ones as well. In addition, we were pretty strapped for time because the death was sudden and we had people who had flown in recently who needed to fly back to their home already. The staff was accommodating and helpful with all our requests.

I utilized your funeral home for services 2 YEARS AGO. I do not appreciate your sales calls and voice mails 2 years later! You’re very insensitive and unprofessional. Figure out how to earn a profit in any other way but calling me two years after my family member passed away to sell your services is beyond disgusting on your part!!!!!!!!!!!!

My family has been faithful to Rudy Garza for the past 30 years but that has all changed. The funeral director who was attending us was the worst person I have ever dealt with. She was not at all compassionate or professional. She went as far as dropping the “F word” right in front of my mom and I. That was the breaking point for me. We took our loved one somewhere else. I honestly felt like I was buying a car with the sales guy breathing down my neck wanting me to make decision immediately. Please make sure your employees are educated on the different insurances that people may have so that they may be able to inform your customers of the situation correctly. Sorry but never again.

I never thought that I would go through something like this anytime soon. I lost my lovely wife and I didn't even know where to begin planning anything for her. When I went to Rudy Garza Funeral Home, I met with Mr. Rafael Torres. He assured me that everything would go smooth and that I didn't have to worry about anything. He and the staff took care of everything we asked for. Thank you for making this experience feel as painless as possible. Thank you all for all the kindness you all showed me and my family!!!
