I took my dog TWICE when he was throwing up for a week and they gave him just medicine, they didn’t do any tests or anything like that, he never stopped throwing up until we took him somewhere else.

They have definitely improved dice the bad review I left about my dogs care back in 2017, but gave rhem another shot with our newest adopted kitten getting him neutered. Price was decent, good service and my lil buddy did great! I would recommend them. PS I know a lot of folks fault the with bad injection and not knowing what they are doing, but I opted to give Precious pain meds for the procedure and it went very well. Give em a shot, I was happy, and I'm picky when it comes to vets because I used to work in the medical field at Valley Baptist as a CNA @ 4th floor South tower.

WARNING!!!! DO NOT bring your pets here!!!! They almost killed my dog because of malpractice! This veterinarian has no idea what he is doing, or he is purposely misdiagnosing your pets in order to get the most money possible from you. $400+ down the drain for false diagnosis, unnecessary treatments and medication. Was told to not give my dog any water and that she had swallowed a bone that was causing internal damage/bleeding and needed emergency surgery. Almost spent thousands at ER in McAllen. I went to The Country Vet for a second opinion instead and thank god I did. She was actually severely dehydrated and needed IV fluids(she had water but was not drinking). They reviewed the X-Rays from this vet that they provided me and saw no such blockage. I was seen immediately at the country vet and was only charged about $30 for overalll treatment/care. I now only go to the country vet. Save your pets life and your money and literally go anywhere else but here.

Never again will I take any of my fur babies here again.... our fur baby could have survived, but everytime we'd take her in, he "wasn't sure" "I'm guessing" he never knew what was going on. We trusted this clinic and Never again we will. The vet here is incompetent. I will be contacting the state board. He needs to retire ASAP!

Not a good place at all took forever to be seen staff in front looks clueless I waited for 1hr and 40 mins to be seen even though my appointment was set don't make since never returning again going elsewhere.

I came here because they could see my dog quickly. Patti was kind and I didNot have any issues with her. Unfortunately the vet is another story!He said my dog did not have Cushings - she was just fat! He kept saying this over and over. Said NOT to feed her for the weekend. Nothing! Are you serious??Then he said if she isn’t better on Monday to come back. We went back on Monday and we were going to put her down. Their “rule” is that the owners can’t be there. They do it in the back! NO WAY! We walked out thinking how sad!! Never will I recommend this vet. He is not understanding or compassionate. Don’t do it. You will regret itOur dog passed away today. She was very sick - but the vet didn’t diagnose her.

Worse customer service ever by office manager! I took my pet in August of 2023 and paid over $300 on that visit. When I left that day everything was fine. Well come this morning when I called for a prescription for my pet they told me my account was under "no service" but couldn't tell me the reason why or what their policy is for putting an acct under that category. How are you not going to know why my account was put under "No Service"? No explanation what so ever! Instead she kept on hanging up on me and threatening me.

Pros: Easy to schedule an appointment.Cons: Gave injections that were not discussed adding an Extra $66 to the bill. Then tried to say they did discuss those in person when that was an absolute lie. I no longer trust this veterinary location especially seeing they take a “we will cover for each others back” mentality instead of doing what is right , accountability. If you choose to go here I recommend asking for a complete breakdown of what will be done, given AND its cost or they may do this to you as well.

I love this place ! I bring all my dogs here, we have 6 currently. the pet care clinic staff and dr dean are so good with them. our dogs are rescues and this is the only place that can handle each and everyone of my dogs and their different quirks. Team is also always friendly and welcoming. I'm so thankful for this team ! just wish they'd expand the clinic my favorite is how dr dean talks to our dogs our fearful olde English bulldog adores going to the clinic lol

Nightmare!!! My dog just got his nails cut here, and he bled all over my car. Ruined my seats and oh my poor dog. They cut his nails way too close And they won't reimburse me Terrible place to take your fur babies too
