Poor service. I went in to purchase a ring for my daughter and not one of the 5 girls that were there came to ask if I needed help. They were too busy laughing and talking to help. So my wife just ordered it online instead. Then to top it off. I went to go pick up my daughter's ring at the pick up window. The girl clearly saw me waiting there waiting for her and she walked past me 3 damn times until she came to me and asked what I needed. Go to another store. This one has just gone down. Poor service. Poor attitude.

It's sad to say that for such a good company this location has half ass poor customer service. They aren't punctual with their store opening hours. Some employees even sarcastic when providing service. It makes the experience to not want to return and shop at this location ever again.

If you value your jewelry Don’t bring it to this location in Harlingen! I don’t think the staff here are properly trained. 1st they put my charms on backwards on a new bracelet I started then they fixed it but gave it back to me with burnt marks on all the charms. 2nd they gave me back one of my bracelets with a sharp metal pin sticking out of it that stabbed me as I put it on. 3rd went to go pick up my jewelry and they almost gave my jewelry to someone else luckily they were honest and said it wasn’t theirs. And 4th while getting one of my bracelets cleaned they must have broke my bracelet and reattached the clasp incorrectly to the safety chain instead of the actual bracelet itself. So if you don’t want your jewelry broken or given to the wrong person. DONT GO TO THE Harlingen location!

My fiancé and I own 2 rings and a chain from James Avery. We went to this location to look around and decided to take advantage of the complementary jewelry cleaning that James Avery offers, since we have gotten them cleaned so well before at other locations. We also decided to buy a new polish rag since we wanted to maintain the polishing afterwards. When we returned to the location to retrieve our items, our jewelry was given to us UNCLEANED and just as tarnished as we left them. Assuming it was because of the age of the items, we waited until we returned home to determine whether or not it was the pieces or the service. Turns out, me and this $7 polish rag do a better job at cleaning jewelry than this James Avery location and their professional cleaning equipment. We called the store to make sure they coach their associates so it doesn’t happen to someone else. We also asked for compensation of a new polish rag, since it’s the best tool for cleaning jewelry. The associate tells us “the dirtier the better” and that they cannot compensate another $7 rag as it is “inevitable to become that dirty over a couple months of usage” when it became this dirty in a matter of a day. She also mentioned that pieces are only “properly cleaned” when items are requested to be hand polished, regardless of the fact that I’ve never received a piece with signs of tarnish after leaving it to be cleaned. I feel as if this location is not providing the same service that all James Avery locations do and do not recommend shopping at this location. Associate recommended the Weslaco location or any others when I expressed my dissatisfaction with their service. I recommend the same.
