“You know, sometimes asking your smart device for recommendations when shopping is hit or miss.We all know we can shop big box stores, I took a chance while visiting Harlingen and asked for a specialty light store. It gave me the light house.DO NOT JUDGE A LIGHTHOUSE by the cover/building. Don't get me wrong, the location and building are fine. To a big box store shopper, it looked too expensive...I went inside, and the staff were incredibly kind and put up with my old guy humor. All woman staff at lunch, very knowledgeable.I was looking for many things gs really... security lights. In home lighting and a replacement range hood bulb which I was sure I would have to go to a hardware or big box store and pay $5 to buy.The light house stunned me with lower pricing than any of them. Yes, I checked.I will be back, for ideas, advice and buy lighting. Thank you to the staff...”

“I had a disappointing customer service experience at hobby lobby. I waited in line, and as I was placing my items on the counter, the cashier suddenly put up a ‘closed’ sign. When I asked if she would still check me out, she just responded, ‘I don’t know because I clocked out!’ I understand needing to finish a shift, but it would’ve been courteous to let me know she was the last client. Instead, I was left feeling frustrated and as though my time was wasted. A little communication could go a long way in improving customer service here.”
