Steaks are not fresh. Rib eye steak smelled spoiled on th bone side and the fats. (After cooking welldone) This is most likely caused by cross-contamination using thesame gloves on different meat specially with the pork right beside the ribeye steak. Found our it was spoiled when I already cooked it even well done sine I'm pregnant. This made me gag ???? ... make sure you preserve portion of the meat as evidence and packaging. Will be reporting them to Food Inspection.

I’ve been to this meat market about 4 times they have the best sirloin cut fajitas around here but the last time I was there two weeks ago I spent $74 plus dollars on those same sirloin fajitas only to be disappointed to the quality I got this time…. I was very disappointed of how much they were chewing and tuff not as good as they were before. Beware.

Nice and clean place but not a good place for steak. I bought 2 prime ribeyes, it was NOT PRIME! I know steaks I don't like when they say it's prime and it isnt. Cooked med rare as always and was very tough to even cut. Oh well I tried!!

Marinated Fajitas are excellent, ready to cook. A bit pricy ($11.49) or so per lb. But marination is not free. They seem to have good business.

Good reviews always out weighs the bad despite those reviews we decided to check out out by far the best meat market I. Harlingen really clean place i ordered the fajitas and also the package they have and got a free charcoal I must admit don’t let the bad reviews stop you from going and giving this place a go TRUST ME BEST SOFTEST FAJITA I LOVED THAT THE ARE THINNER THAN OTHERS EASIER TO EAT AND BITE THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A ONE NAMED SANDRA WAS AWESOME AND VERY HELPFUL I HOPE YALL TRY YOU WONT REGRET ?☝️❤️???also the produce is super fresh

I have been to Carniceria Del Valle a few times the first time I purchased meat there the meat was tough, I didn't think much about it due to the fact that meat sometimes comes out tough, but several times it just doesn't appeal to me. I recently bought a package and the beef was tough and the chicken even though marinated had a foul oder to it, I do not recommend this place unless your into tough smelly meat. Which obviously there are some people who like it.Weirdos!!!If this incident just happened once I wouldn't be complaining but several times back to back just makes a person want to spread the word to go elsewhere to purchase meat, those they dont spend money on a dogs chew toy. ( tough meat ).

Lots of options for meats, spices & seasonings. The meat looked fresh and well marinated. The older gentleman behind the butcher counter was really friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend.
