Initially, the dealership was courteous and eager to assist with any inquiries when I purchased my vehicle. However, the service quality significantly declined once I became a client in need of car maintenance. Over the past two years, I have consistently encountered issues with the service department.
The most recent unfortunate experience with the service department was when they lost my key almost a month ago. One of their associates, Xavier, had to drop me off at my place of employment and told me they would call me back and drop off my car (once my key was found). They never called; I had to call multiple times before they finally answered and informed me they had misplaced my key. After I asked, they agreed to give me a loaner.
Over the week, I repeatedly called for updates on my car, which was frustrating as I couldn't access something inside it due to a delay in programming a new key. I was stuck with a loaner vehicle for a week. After expressing my concerns to a manager, the key issue was resolved quickly, and I received my car the next day. While I appreciated the bag of goodies they gave me, I would have preferred better service over receiving gifts.
Today, I went at 8:45 a.m. to try and drop off my vehicle because the reverse camera is not working. Xavier told me there were no available appointments and scheduled me until Monday. However, I found many open slots online.
This inconsistent service has made my experience frustrating, with the only positive interaction being before I purchased the car. This is the first and last time I will do business with this dealership. I plan to upgrade my car and go to San Juan to avoid these experiences.

I have experienced excellent services. I live in McAllen but Hatlingen dealership arranged a driver to pick up my car from home and delivered it back to my house next day.
This saved my working day hours and time off from work.
My special thanks to Mercedes Hatlingen Service department and Finance dept of Mercedes to pull my warranty papers and schedule the service.

Mercedes of Harlingen just finished servicing my wife’s GLS. Steve and Xavier in service are simply amazing! My concerns were addressed re the vehicles A/C cooling and appropriate repairs were made. I was most impressed Steve was able to get my wife a loaner during the repair process. Although the repair took longer than expected, it was no inconvenience with the loaner. We will continue to patronize this business and enjoy their convenient location in the future!

I was so appreciative of Martin in the service department for getting me in this Wednesday for an air conditioning problem especially since we are near the border of Mexico and the heat index has been so high. I was treated with kindness and respect from everyone at Mercedes of Harlingen.
I was even able to get my car inspection and will continue to be a customer at this location. They are relocating in a few month but will still be in Harlingen. Thank you Martin for the updates throughout my visit and saving me from the heat and humidity.

Michael the manager was excellent! We shipped a car from there to Idaho and he was extremely professional and responsive.
Martha did the paperwork and answered all our questions and concerns.
We have dealt with many dealerships in the past and have not gotten anywhere near the amount of excellence,service and integrity as this establishment.
