Navy Federal is an incredibly disappointing institution to bank with, displaying a complete lack of regard for combat veterans with a 100% VA rating. Despite being a member for over two decades, I have experienced firsthand their disregard for customer service and security measures. The implementation of their ineffective artificial intelligence system has only exacerbated the issue, as evidenced by the theft of over $4,000 from my account through unauthorized use of my debit card. Furthermore, their refusal to provide necessary documentation for a police report and their failure to address previous incidents of negligence, such as the destruction of a $3,000 check, highlight their blatant disregard for their customers' well-being and financial security. It is evident that Navy Federal has prioritized cost-cutting measures over the well-being of their clients, resulting in severe financial losses and emotional distress for myself and my family. I urge all potential customers to reconsider banking with Navy Federal, as their actions demonstrate a clear lack of care and responsibility towards their patrons. I intend to escalate this matter to the highest levels of leadership within Navy Federal to ensure accountability and restitution for the harm caused to myself and my family.

“Our members are our mission,” obviously hasn’t been communicated to the staff at the NFCU Harker Heights location. Went in to take care of an escrow transaction and an additional deposit, was told that there were two people ahead of me, ok, no problem, I took a seat and waited my turn. Got called back by a young man whom I told what I needed and he proceeded to tell me that I needed to go stand in line for a teller as that was not his job, he didn’t have a cashier bag, whatever that meant, I said no, I waited for him and if he couldn’t assist me then I’d like to speak with the branch manager, he said really snarky, ok boss, and walked out. What happened to the mission statement here? Unbelievable lack of customer service at this location, it’s been failing for a while now. Not any help from the manager who presented, not even any introduction, like good afternoon sir, how can I be of assistance……., just came in like she knew the entire situation, complete failure…….. do us all a favor and close this branch. Just keep the ATM’s they are better at customer service than what you have going on now!

Went in to ask about a credit card with my wife. The agent "William" (over wieght white guy) decided to talk about me to my wife when I went outside to my vehicle. My wife is from another country and doesn't speak English well. I did not realize large organizations hired such unprofessional people.

If I could give zero I would. Came in to withdraw money. Instead, the gentleman today wanted to go more into my account to discuss it. Sorry, but if I wanted to discuss more about my account, I would want it to be in a private area. Not be around others to hear.

I refinanced my truck with them. Better interest rate. Had my loan approved and check in hand in less than 30 minutes. It's easier than dealing with a bank.

I don’t wanna cuss anyone out but people at this office don’t care about their customers at all. I gave some paperwork to that fat Latino or Caucasian dude with glasses on in his office but he NEVER processed it. I feel like he was racist or biased or something. I’m losing a lot money right now because of him.

Very difficult to deal with local offices in Central Texas areas. Policies for direct deposit changed since this account was opened. Staff pleasant, but not very helpful.
