It gets better, having more items to choose from on their shelves. But one should be more careful picking out food in the "packed cook meals" section. Yesterday, I bought a pack of crabs, cooked as is, it's black all in between the legs and its body.

Pros:
- Clean and well-organized store
- Large selection of items
- Helpful staff
Cons:
- The store is on the top of a hill, so you have to be careful when you get to your car that your shopping cart does not accidentally run into your, or someone else's car (there is not much HEB can do about that)

Gave me my first experience of home delivery. Love the curbside folks I would have to call when I wasn't receiving some items. They would reschedule a delivery of the items or simply adjust my total. Also, if you ordered something and they were out of the item they would substitute with another item and only charge for the item you actually wanted.

I like HEB's meat and produce. They could use more stockers. Shelves are almost always half empty.

I know that HEB likes to hire teens and young adults for the front end and curbside positions, but they still need to be trainable, respectful, and professional. On several occasions, as I entered the store, I walked past teenage employees who were either cursing or flirting. I shouldn't have to encounter that the moment I enter the store, or at all.
A lot of your checkers and baggers seem to really dislike their jobs. It's not a hard job, but they make it out to be. I often have to listen to unnecessary “Drama Today featuring today's scheduled Checker/Bagger.” I don’t need to hear about how someone got wasted last night, why they are no longer talking to Sean, why they hate working today, or how they plan to get “baked” after work. That’s not professional. “On god” “on god” “on god.”
Additionally, the baggers need more training. Steak doesn’t go with cat food, and eggs or bread should not go in the bag first. Please train your employees to ask the customer if they would like help bagging instead of just bumping them out of the way. I prefer to bag my own items.
Why do floor employees and curbside staff need their handheld devices to find common items? I see this all the time. Just yesterday, three curbside employees couldn't find the family-size Chex Mix. All three took out their handheld devices and still couldn’t locate it. Fortunately, I knew where it was and led the customer to the correct location.
The leniency from managers and supervisors is getting out of hand. Train and coach your employees properly. Y’all need to do better.

In that place the jewelry is useless, it is garbage, they scammed me by selling me gold and it is fake.

I was disappointed and disgusted by the HEB male SUSHI MAKER employee who went into the men's bathroom, walked past 2 empty urinals and peed all over a toilet seat, to then rinse his hands in water for 2 seconds WITHOUT using SOAP! Then he walked out the center front door and VAPED! I brought all this to the attention of an HEB manager but concerned this was not corrected?

I'm that person that doesn't like the warehouse feel of these stores. Too boxy and tip many sale labels all over the place.
That said, I do like their bakery and fresh tortillas.
