This is my all time favorite destination for a road trip. We have a 12 year old and a 3 year old and set out on a 12 hour drive to Happy, Texas to meet The Happy Toymaker. He was the absolute sweetest man and his mom and him, along with his employees (which are amazing), treated us to an afternoon tour of his workshop and all of the amazing creations he has built and continues to build for people of all ages. We left feeling like family and with lots of amazing new toys. My boys are begging to return and we are already looking at the calendar. Do not second guess whether or not you should purchase one of these amazing toys. It will easily be the best money you have ever spent and the memories will last a lifetime and so will the toy.
