“This place looks bigger when you are inside! It has a large variety of products and a very good range of brands. It's more expensive than Walmart but it's convenient. They have very good Mexican cheeses and corn tortillas, just like in Mexico! They have Google pay there which is amazing because Walmart being Walmart doesn't do Google pay lol.”

“IF you are looking for Caribbean/Latino foods fresh or frozen this is a great place to go. Very wide assortment of mainly Caribbean type foods, spices, snacks even some hard to find fruits/vegetables. Recently they added a small Café with a variety of hot meals ready to eat. Only a few small tables so some may prefer take home but either way they have some great tasting dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. A monster Cuban sandwich as well as some high octane Cuban Coffee are worth a try. Recommended!!”

“This is not your ordinary meat market. Aside from a wide selection of cuts, it has a kitchen with a limited menu. So you can snack just before you get your meat and shop for groceries.Best place to find freshly made chicharrones, fresh latin foods like different mole brands, produce, canned goods and other dry goods to complete a bona fide latin meal.Today I stocked up on tequeños, mole from rancho la California and avocados.I will say the marinated meat prices have risen quite a bit. As of Feb 2024, the fajita is 10.99/lb and the tablitas are 12.99/lb.”

“Dropped in to check out what they had. Quite impressed with the selection and dropped a benjamin on their frozen meats. Had a organic rhode island red chicken for dinner and the meat was tasty and complex instead of the usual supermarket variety. Heritage pork was available for the pork eaters as was Australian wagyu at very reasonable prices. Lots of unusual fare that you will not find at your local supermarket :-) Worth a visit just to browse. A definite must for foodies and would-be foodies”

“Great studying spot with delicious drinks at your fingertips. Deli and coffee shop are inside the store which was perfect for a whole day of studying. There was a group doing a flower arrangement class which I hope to come back and do one day. Super cute spot!”

“Easy Delivery. Super fast to unload. Parking is a little tricky tho. The docks are slightly angled to the street so its a little deceiving. Other then that I was in and out in about 30 Minutes.”

“Went to this place while visiting my daughter in Hurst, Texas. The man making our order was very friendly, talkative, and kind. The rest not so much. The barbacoa was great and the burritos weren't all tortilla. (My pet peave is having a burrito that's mostly tortilla.) They were out of carnitas that was a bummer but I had their chicharrones and they were great. I really wanted pan dulce but as soon as I opened the door it smelled stale. So disappointing. I really enjoyed what I did get and will be back. Maybe the pan dulce will be fresh and the employees will be kinder. Nonetheless every business deserves a 2nd and sometimes a 3rd chance. It is a new business and I will support them.”

“The store was nice and clean, but workers are not very customer service oriented. They don't smile, welcome you, or say " Have a good____!" Inflation has really taken a toll because this store (well, Dallas location) was fairly reasonable compared to this one.”

“Man, the food is great. Barbacoa and carnitas are greatness. The menudo was good, but I like hominy in mine. I wish the tables were cleaned more often, and knowing where to pay can be a bit confusing for a first time visitor. You look at the food you want to order, the you have to go to the checkout register to pay, and then comeback with the receipt. This is a mercado and restaurant.”

“I strolled into Carniceria El Paya one Saturday night, just an hour before closing, and let me tell you, the joint was buzzin' like a beehive at a honey convention. This place is as snug as a bug in a rug - small and cozy, like your favorite grandma's living room.I waltzed in with a hankering for some uncooked seasoned Tablita. I mean, I heard the buzz, and I had to see what the fuss was about. Took that bad boy home, fired up the grill, and let me tell you, it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. It was so good, I'm pretty sure it made my taste buds do a happy dance. You better believe I'll be back to try out more cuts of meat. Carniceria El Paya, you had me at Tablita.”

“RABBIT !!! I hate to give away a secret, but if you love to cook German food.... especially Hasenpfeffer or rabbit stew... they carry it. Aisle 7, bottom shelf, buried in with game hens. They are pricey little critters... from $35 to $45 each, but that is market value these days.”
