I will never bring my car back to this place ever again! I’ve been to this place 3 times and the way that I have been treated these last two times have been beyond disrespectful. Back in January, I brought my 2008 Ford Fusion to their shop because I needed to get an oil pan replaced (which they took care of) but I noticed my car had started overheating shortly after that. I didn’t think that one thing had to do with the other so I decided to keep driving up until couldn’t anymore because Of that issue. Then, tired of the overheating issue, I went and got an entirely new car. Having 2 notes then, I tried working something out the car company to where I could voluntarily surrender the car but the issue was still present so I had the car towed to the shop which should’ve only been $70 bucks. Also, the car, at the time it was transported from the apartment to the shop had 13 miles on the gas portion of the dashboard reading. I left the car there thinking that it was going to be a huge $$$ but then Harold or whoever the shop owners name is called me back to tell me that the fans had not been reconnected which was causing the issue meaning they never reconnected the fans after they had finished doing the previous job. Since I’ve had my car, I have only then my car to be serviced by them so they were the only ones who were near my car in any vicinity. Then the next day I head up there, we get into a verbal disagreement because I explained to him that even though I hadn’t brought the car up there since January, I haven’t taken my car to any other shop or dealership and being that that was the only vehicle I had at that time, I had to drive it. I didn’t have any other choice. At that point in time, I had not driven my car since March 23 (other than me moving the car occasionally so that the battery wouldn’t be affected). I told him that I moved the far a few times around the parking lot so that it wouldn’t be just sitting and had to further explain that even though the mileage tickets had different amounts (roughly 135,616 and 137, 494) I still had to drive it to get around and to make it worse, I told them what my issue was and was still charged for a diagnostic fee of $40.50! Like what the heck? I also requested to have gas put in my car unaware that it was $15 charge. Under the premise that I had enough covered for the gas and the tow, I went up there but realizing that I didn't enough to cover everything, I left shortly afterward and had planned to pick the car up at a later date. Then today, 7/19/2021, I go up there to pick my car up and the car doesn’t have gas in it! Harold comes out and tries to tell me that his guys had to drive the car around after they fixed their mess up and then says that they put gas in there but I told him there was nothing in their. The gas meter literally read 0 miles! So instead of him trying to put some gas in the car, he gives me $5 and says that there are gas stations in the area in which case I responded what if I don’t make it to the closest one. He says if that happens, then you have my number. Bruh this is a black owned business and this is what I be talking about when I say it be your own people. Like bruh wasn’t even trying to help me. Who would give somebody $5 and then try to send them on their way? I’m all for supporting black businesses but this is the absolute worse! I hope they don’t get any more business out of that raggedy shop. I’ve been a loyal customer but y’all have lost me for life. People read this review! It’s travesty how these people treat paying customers.

Honest, Dependable. Affordable.We've been coming to Harold for over 20 years! Even when we lived in Dallas, we drove back for servicing! He's taken care of 10 cars for us.We always recommend HK to family & friends.Best time for quick in & out service, is early mornings. They open at 800a.
