This is a true gem of a place. So clean, well-stocked and friendly. The handbrake on my mother’s walker was no longer working, and Clyde James not only repaired it in a jiffy, they gave me a tutorial on how to do it myself next time. All at no cost! They refused to take my money!! This turned a very stressful day into one I will cherish for a long time. Thank you so much, Clyde James Cycles! I wish you had been around when I was growing up in Haltom City.

My husband has his custom bikes built at Clyde’s. Never have we had any negative encounters with the guys. Bill Woo made up his negative review. Just check out all of his negative reviews for different liquor stores. God bless you Bill Woo! ?

Never, NEVER, will I spend one penny here. And I recommend every parent to not expose their children to here.[UPDATE: this clearly unsettlingly volatile person (read his reply for yourself) has confused me with someone else and his reply has nothing to do with me. Yet the fact that he had a customer "yell" at him, and he is so bent about it, doesn't surprise me.I affirm that everything I report below is accurate and truthful. Decide for yourself if your children should be exposed to such a person.]The 30-ish man there about noon Friday 2/9/24 was so outrageously mean and insulting that we almost left there in tears. He was so vicious, I really mean that, that I figure either he was in severe pain, or, more likely looked at our bicycle and saw that it costs less than $900 so he reasoned that he couldn't make a nice profit, so tried to get the customers to go away!!I was so stunned that I was shaking and fearful that we needed to figure out how to gracefully leave. I tried twice to say, "You must be very busy now. I'll come back." (Even though there were no customers and he didn't LOOK busy). We tremblingly got out without even looking at his products or leaving the bike for enhancements.I stress the part about not taking your children there. My son doesn't need adult bullying.

Clyde’s is my go to bike shop for all of my bike parts and service. They service all of my bmx and lowrider bikes. The guys at the shop are very knowledgeable and their customer service is A1. I drive an hour almost on a weekly basis to the shop for parts. Very friendly and family oriented business.

Super nice and helpful dudes. If they don't have it they can get it fast. If you're in a pinch and want to get your bike back rolling today this is the place to go, especially for bmx bikes. Glad there's good dudes supporting the bike community here locally still.

Absolutely my favorite bike shop in town. I drive from Aubrey to get all my BMX parts and my sons new BMX bike here. Brandon and Clyde are always attentive and kind. They do great things for the local bike scene and are quick to help get the parts I need. They are the only shop on dfw that carries high end BMX components!

A few years ago when they were on Stanley Keller I brought my son's little cheap Walmart bike to them and they fixed it for free. Simple fix. Ever since then I knew that this was the bike shop for me l. today I walked in and was greeted told that I could fix my bike on my own and they showed me how but instead I decided to stay and get my chain and everything done because they're such a great business and everyone is so friendly! Please give them a try!

Called them to ask a question about handlebars, guy wanted to act smart with me over the phone. I Asked a simple question, if they had carbon fiber handlebars. He told me they only have a u shaped one for Youth bikes, I said ok that wouldn’t work. What regular bmx style bars do you have? .. He then said well I have a 3” and “4 in. In carbon.. and that “if I’d listen to him and stop talking”bad customer service.

I'm overseas but am trying to arrange a purchase for my wife an eBike. She's not used to cycling. She has a medical condition and it's important for her to have a bike that's stable and easy to ride, so we were hoping to test ride the regular RadRunner and the RadTrike to see which one is more suitable.I end up getting a call from my wife in tears because the guy at Clyde James has been shockingly rude to her. As soon as she arrives he tries to turn her away and tell her no test rides because it's too late, despite arriving over an hour before they close. Okay, fine, whatever. But she then gets a long tirade about how she shouldn't even attempt to ride a bike, because apparently someone with a vision problem like Myopia and an eBike just doesn't mix.Awful experience. Stay away.
