Bought a set of tires for my van and they are so so but it took a bit to get done and they sent me home w low air in my new tires. Lol. Second trip I ordered a new set for my SUV but they dropped the ball and I showed up to find them two tires short and the tires they had were the wrong size. They have no service skills or ability yo communicate in a professional manner. Time wasted! Tumis the Dumas!

My spouse and I were returning to Minnesota after vacationing in southern Texas to visit family. On Friday evening, January 7th, we had an problem with our car and felt it was not safe to continue driving. The error message was "AC fan off because Engine is Hot" the AC does not work on my car. We spent the night in Halletsville and on Saturday morning we took it to this auto repair, they were the only mechanics open on Saturday. The young man was able to diagnosis the problem, and sent us to the NAPA Auto Parts store to get the part. In addition, the clerk at NAPA connected the sensor device and was able to tell us what sensor we needed. The car was fixed within 30 minutes and we were on our way. We made it home with no additional problems.Thank you so much for the great service and helping these travelers with the 2014 Chevy Cruze

I am not old enough to drive but my dad owns Tumis Tire. The employees are nice and funny. I will be the owner and I will never let it come out of our last name. If you think I put 5 stars and a good review because it is my family's, your wrong.

These guys are honest!! I was in New Jersey/New York and my family had the same mechanic 30 plus years. I moved to Hallettsville!! I knew no one. These guys are great!! I know nothing about cars. Nothing! My "Service Engine Soon" light came on. I took it to them. Anthony checked it out for me. He could have sold me the Brooklyn Bridge!! I need my vehicle for work!! He checked things out. Asked if I had gotten gas that day. I was thinking the worse. I said, "Yes." He went out and tightened the gas cap. Problem solved!! Light off. I asked him, "How much? 20 bucks?" " He said, "No charge!!" Not a dime!! I have been here three years now. Driven back to N.Y. and back three times. (Round trip 5,000 miles). My vehicle is '04 with 167,000 on it. Before I left, they checked it out. Again, could have made a million. Last time was $174.00. I never had a problem on any trip. These are my guys!! I couldn't recommend more!!

Not closed on Saturdays, definitely open from 7:30 am until 1:30 pm. I should know this because I go there all the time.

They fixed a flat for $14. They did $500 worth of damage to the underside of my car. I would recommend that you do not buy tires there or even get a flat fixed.

These guys always go the extra mile for their customers! They have gotten me out of a few binds. They are knowledgeable about their products and have a great small town feel with excellent customer service. Keep up the great work.

I bought new tires from this place and less than 20 miles on the tires one blew from a defect in the tire. Lucky I was driving 30 miles an hour when it happened. I took the tire back and they tried to get a warranty from the manufacturer, when the manufacturer wouldn't replace it they told me it was ‘road hazard.' This is just an excuse so they did not have to replace the tire, the damage was clearly a rip in the sidewall because the new tire was defective. Then they wanted to SELL me another tire instead of replace it so they could keep my business. I will never buy from them again, and suggest to everyone to use another shop that will stand by their work and products.
