Bealls Customer Service Sucks!! I went to return an item that didn’t fit which I bought off the clearance section. I showed my receipt for the item I was returning and the store associate notified me that I would get a refund but it would be $1.50 less than what I had paid. I questioned why I wasn’t getting my full refund even though I had my receipt? He indicated that the clearance item I purchased had been marked down once more after I purchased it so I would get $1.50 less than what I paid for the item. I asked to speak to the manager and he shared the same thing that I would get a refund but it would be $1.50 less than what I paid because that was the policy. I questioned why the customer wasn’t notified prior to purchasing a clearance item at the register? He had no answer for that. Again he stated that, that was the store policy. Although, He did agree that the policy in place wasn’t fair to the customers because we were being cheated on our full refund. I stated since you agree this isn’t fair to the customer then override the register so they wouldn’t cheat me out of my monies. He reported that he couldn’t do that. The customer service at Bealls Sucks! My experience as a cashier at JC Penny’s for years tells me a manager can override any amount at the register. Be Aware of Hidden Policies at Bealls.

It is a treasure hunt and if you find something that you want or need, you had better get it right then.

This stores customer service is not convenient. They ALWAYS only have 1 person working the register, while they have other employees doing other things. I get there is other things always needing to be done. But when you see there is a mile long line. Giving your customers a faster experience would be great!
