I have rental properties and title them in an LLC. I currently have one right now in Greenville where I am working on numerous projects. For tax reasons these repairs need to be paid for by my LLC and I have a checking account set up for that purpose. Lowe's will not accept my company check and will give me no explanation for it. I have never written a bad check from this account or any other account and there is always plenty of money in it to cover any checks I write. I asked a floor manager to help me find out what the problem is and he basically said I was out of luck. I asked him if the general store manager could help with this and he said she would not take her time to help me and I was waiting my time trying. I called the company that Lowes contracts with who declined the check and could not get a resolve either. No one there can give me an explanation on this or even try and help resolve this matter. For this, I give a one star review.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced at Lowe's. The cashier at self checkout actually called a customer a "stupid bitch" out loud.The customer was an elderly lady who was obviously confused. But instead of helping her, the cashier cursed at her and treated her very unprofessionally.I had to help the lady and guide her in the right direction and I am not an employee.This is the kind of treatment the other retailer is known for and not Lowe's. Truly disgusted by the lack of decency by the cashier.

I bought a Kobalt 1/4 impact driver May of 2022, it has stopped working, light flashes and won't turn. LOWES WEBSITE SAYS NO QUESTIONS ASKED RETURN POLICY FOR THIS ITEM. The Greenville Texas store refuses to honor this policy because that specific tool is discontinued. Now I'm out an impact driver. Only reason I bought a Kobalt in the first place is for the warranty. Manager Casey and employees were completely unwilling to help, and got an attitude with me. Complete trash customer service. The short haired girl with glasses and nose rings at customer service was completely rude and had quite the attitude. Told me I was on my own to try to get a new tool from Kobalt myself despite the LIFETIME NO QUESTIONS ASKED NO RECEIPT WARRANTY. Unacceptable.

I purchased a washer from Lowes. It was a stackable to replace the one that was not repairable. I was FULLY aware Lowes would not install it due to liability issues. I made arrangements to have a third party to install. Lowes showed up yesterday with my new washer. It was at that time they told me they could NOT even unhook the malfunction old washer; again liability issues and company policy. I told them to take it back and I wanted a refund. Unfortunately I purchased it from a gift card from my warranty company. They told me they would refund it with another gift card. So am I supposed to get this gift card refund so I can buy another washer and repeat the mistake??? I am in process of trying to resolve it. I am the one bending over backwards for them. Customer Service has gone out the window. I could not post without a rating, so therefore the one star, which they did not earn. For some reason, my review shows I am in California. I am in Greenville Tx

I ordered 2 ceiling fans. I also paid an extra $200 for installation. They contracted a company called Handy to do the install. When the installer arrived he said it would be another $130 because it was an install and not a replace. I NEVER said it was a replace. If you ever order installation from Lowes, make sure it is not Handy that does the install. They are crooks.

Last year I bought a washer and dryer and they never said they wouldn't be available at the same time. I requested the floor demo and upon arrival I got attitude from the delivery driver about me having to be first and him not getting to his other customers. RUDE to say the least for any delivery!

I will NEVER be purchasing another major appliance from LOWE'S EVER AGAIN. I went in and purchased a new Dryer, Range and Over The Range (OTR) Microwave/Exhaust Fan, plus installation and delivery. So I thought all was good. WRONG!!!! So, what I wasn't told at the store is that the normal delivery and installation does not include the Over The Range Microwave. No, see, that's an additional $129.00 that you have to pay to have another group to come out and install. But wait, there's more. If you did not previously have an OTR microwave, you have to pay $35.00 just to get the installers out to your house to do a "DESIGN"; whatever the hell, that is. Then they will give you a quote on how much the installation is going to cost you , and no it will not be the $129.00 previously quoted to me by JP, Assistant Manager, Lowe's #3314, Greenville, TX. But you can expect it to be much more, according to David in Appliances at said store.Oh, and that new range you bought? Yeah, that comes with a very important safety feature called an Anti-Tipping Bracket. This is supposed to be installed to prevent the range from tipping over, causing great bodily damage or even death. But guess what? it is not covered in the installation and delivery. Yeah, you're going to need another installation team to come out for that at $129.00. They also do not tell you that at the store level, cook at your own risk. Oh, but there's more. The Delivery Man that they sent out, first he past my drive way, then after he turned around he couldn't keep the truck under control, almost taken out my front fence and ran through my culvert. Then wasted about 45 minutes waiting on his "helper" to arrive. Did he use that time to haul out the old appliance I paid to have removed? NO. Did he install any of the power cords on the new appliances? NO. Did he do anything that would speed up in the installation of the appliances he was installing? NO, NO, NO!!! He just waited around milking the clock, I guess. There is NOTHING about this experience that was what I would expect off Lowe's, and believe me, I am more than Pissed Off!!! This is one VERY EXPENSIVE lesson I am learning, and I will never make the mistake of buying from Lowe's again.

Lowes is great. We shop there all the time. Helpful employees and a ton of product. Fun fact Lowes was created by the ex wife to the man who built Home Depot. She wanted a store that would cater to the non professional as well as the professional. She wanted focus on customer service and user friendly store layout. Quite an opposite from Home Depot.

Most of the staff are wonderful. One older lady was pretty rude about a section of discount plants she was working on. Basically ran me away from them! Nice selection of plants but, could have more varieties for my taste.
