This place reeks of sewage, especially near where food is being prepared. An employee told me it's one of the drains. I've noticed this smell for months, and looking at previous reviews this has been going on for years, but management doesn't seem to be addressing it. If they can't fix sewer gas emanating from a drain in the kitchen where food is being served to the public, the company should shut this store down.

Went to this Tom Thumb on my lunch to get a ginger boost shot and some food. A week prior a few of the refrigerators in the produce section were empty and being worked on due to what I assume was a mechanical issue. I bought the ginger shot today 8/15/24 and it had expired 6/29/24. I’m not sure how or why the 2 month old ginger shots made it back in the fridge, but being pregnant it’s just a little unsettling and 100% backs up my reasoning for checking every expiration date. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen expired products at this location.

Me and my wife are neurodivergent and have sensory issues. I have now been there twice, the first time is smelled like feces in the store. Today it smelled like feces and death. Idk how the management and employees can just stand there and act like they can't smell that, it's gross and corporate should do something about it because me and my wife will not be returning and soon others will not be returning either.

Stinks. And they will respond to this with some canned garbage. The problem should have been fixed day one, not someday.
Also the donation at the checkout needs to die.

Gone down hill dramatically, moldy onions, sewer smells, expired dairy. When I told a kid the seafood case was smelly he says “yah it’s been festering for a while.”

Used to shop at this tom thumb for over a decade... but nowadays, less and less. Something changed, either ownership or management, or both. Nowadays, produce is terrible, and the whole place even smells foul. Couldn't help but notice the nasty, black water inside the mop bucket that the staff uses to mop the floors. No wonder the smell!

Having been a customer for 24 years, I find it insulting that Tom Thumb won't accept my check without having to go through a number of steps, including calling Tom Thumb's Financial Services. I had entered my Tom Thumb card number, and given the clerk my driver's license, and my check was from a local bank just down the street. The delay was annoying to the others in the line and the whole incident was insulting and embarrassing to me. I have spent hundreds of dollars a month at this store for years...But, I am trying to pay cash/check these days rather than using a credit card but Tom Thumb is making that standard too difficult. Aldi and Kroger both accept my checks without this kind of insulting and time-consuming policy.

Had what i needed but was a bit over-priced. Store is well-stocked with product. Store is clean and not too crowded.
