The store as a whole is clean and well organized. I've been coming to this location since I was young and never ran into many issues with the staff. I usually go through the self checkout where the attendants are always pleasant but leave me to do my shopping however the other day I went to stop by the Starbucks in the store to get my grandma a lemonade even though I don't like starbucks. Here we come to the climax of this review. The barista that helped me who's name I think was Daniel was rude in a way that I don't think is professional, I understand having a rough day but as someone in the service industry I believe it's entirely inappropriate to ignore a customer while on your phone and then to roll your eyes when you finally have to take care of them. He seemed upset that I wanted to have light ice in the lemonade and overall it made me uncomfortable. I do not want to come back to this location out of worry that this worker would be judging me or that I might inconvenience his busy work on his phone.

I don't know if it's because it's Super Bowl weekend, or if Tom Thumb is finally listening to its bad reviews but - I've noticed there are now several checkers checking people out as well as the self checkout counters. What a difference it makes! There are people who want to have someone check out their groceries for them. There are some who can't use self check out easily. I hope this is a permanent improvement. There is still much to be done in the store. It could be a lot cleaner and a lot more organized. Recently I was purchasing spices. I was specifically paying attention to the expiration dates as some of these items only get used seasonally. Well, do your homework and check spice and seasoning expiration dates. Tom Thumb has expired products mixed in with close to expiring products. I had a similar experience in the aspirin and pain relief aisle. The staff members I've encountered are friendly and seem caring. Keep the manned registers open and continue upgrading the neighborhood grocery shopping experience.

Sarah M. was very patient and helped me out- even though I'm a goof and brought a gift card through self checkout. Great store, and this was another good experience for me as I get ready for holidays.

I am not sure how this place continues to rip people off. Oh I know, there are no other options for groceries in North Grapevine. I quit using this store months ago because the digital coupons NEVER work. But on occasion my spouse will shop there. He just came back with the receipt and much of it did not ring up correctly. The 5lb potatoes advertised for 97cents rang up at $3.49 however the $3.00 off 3 boxes of Chex cereal did ring up correctly. When you ask for assistance on why your coupons aren't working it is like a deer in headlights. Half the produce items will not show the proper code when searching by the name. Search for fresh corn and you are only given the option for tri-colored corn at 4 times the price. This place is super shady and I recommend avoiding it if you can. It is not like this at the Tom Thumb down the road in Southlake so I am not sure what is going on with the Tom Thumb on Park Blvd.

1. I use this store because the location is decent. However, the customer service is unsatisfactory. It must start with management. Poor training of employees and/or poor decision-making in the hiring process. Deli employees are rarely available to assist in a purchase. You rarely see anyone - they're all in the back room, and when/if they do come out, they look at you like you're interrupting their work. Seems like they most hate their jobs and wish they were elsewhere. The entire place is just one negative environment. Grapevine needs HEB. Come on Mayor, get it done. I always regret going into this store. From now on I will drive a bit further to Central Market in Southlake.

This is not my typical Tom Thumb but I occasionally stop here when I am in this part of town. However, I swear this is the last time. The fresh meat counter is what always gets me. Today, I came in around 5:15, there was one fella working and he was power washing things. I appreciate the cleanliness, but I stood there for a while and while he looked at me several times, he kept on. Finally I was walking away and he put down the washer. I waved him away and said nevermind. He yelled after me "you good"? Yeah man, I'm good. Walking right out of this store and not coming back. It seems like I am an inconvenience every time I step up to the meat counter. I will just go on to the one on Hall Johnson. Their meat guys are always friendly.

Very clean, well stocked, customer friendly location. Special shout out to Mr. Eric Weber for helping me find items in store I couldn't find. Also, the best floral dept in this area hands down, flowers are always fresh.

Really want to use this store. I went in with my digital coupons. Verified they were there with the store manager. Checked out. Ask the cashier if I got them all and she said yes. Got home and realized I was overcharged $19.24. If you do not look at these receipts you are a fool. I have used them 4 times and it has been wrong 4 times. Im talking about 30% off correct numbers. If you do not use coupons it may not be this problem . I do not know. Staff is friendly and helpful. Their system is bad. I'll go back next week and get a refund. I think going forward I am going to precalculate my bill. Save the refund trip

So very disappointed in today's shopping experience. Had thin steak advertised at 50% off; however, the label listed its weight at +3lbs and +$45 originally. The reality is the package was 1.12lbs as weighed by the Meat Manager after I brought it to his attention. The explanation I got was the pricing of the meats are directed from Corporate! In the scheme of good customer service you would've thought he give me 50% off the correct weight but apparently that wasn't an option or, at least, it wasn't offered. Buyer Beware!

Trina in floral is awesome and very helpful! However, this Tom Thumb in general is the worst. The produce is always rotting and covered in gnats. The meat is tough and stinky. I pray grapevine gets an HEB soon! I dread going here.

I can't remember ever having such a negative experience in a grocery store as I did today in this Tom Thumb. Go literally anywhere else, not here.

Great local grocery store with fresh produce and a wide selection of items! The staff has been friendly in the midst of having impatient customers and folks stressed out due to the pandemic.

Visited butcher shop yesterday October 10 around 2 pm . TT employee at butcher shop had full long beard which was barely covered by mask / hair net. We were going to buy some meat but passed as cleanliness of food prep was questionable and likelihood of food hair was high. Just an unpleasant not attractive experience at TT butcher shop TT Park Blvd in Gvine.

Don't bother using click & save. Poor communication. They left me hanging with no groceries. Manager was somewhat rude saying that he can't access the computer. Get a real Manager Tom. I stopped using Kroger because of their incompetence.

Megan refused my request to put my 6 items in one bag. While she was putting in one item per bag, I asked her to just use one. She looked at me, tore off another bag and dropped the one item in it. Then she said, "the bags will tear." I slowly removed the candy bar and yogurt cup from the 2 additional bags and put everything in one. She also forgot to give me the monopoly pieces since she was so involved in arguing with me over how many bags I needed. Just to make sure I wasn't putting too much in one bag, I weighed it when I got home and it weighed 4 pounds. I'm pretty sure that's well under the weight limit for a plastic bag. I will not be going back to this Tom Thumb.
