I put in an inquiry about a vehicle and had multiple sales people reach out to me. I decided to drive out 50 mins to go see the vehicle. While I was on my way salesperson Tom texted me trying to get me to hold the vehicle due to it being “popular”. I let him know I was already on my way and that I was 20 mins out. He said okay. So I proceeded with my trip. As soon as I arrived, he texted me saying the vehicle had sold. In less then 20 mins he sold the vehicle he was trying to get me to put in hold… I asked to speak to the general manager, and he basically gave me the run around and blamed it on timing… it takes way longer than 20 mins to sell a car. I was lied to just to get brought in. I asked to speak to Mr.sewell and was told no. That he was the only person I could talk to about this issue. So in short I was harassed with calls about a vehicle, lied to just to get brought down here, and then told “it’s just unfortunate” for something completely unprofessional.

This dealership deserves a 6 star rating! Their customer service is unrivalled and goes way beyond the call of duty. I had an issue with the Cue-system on my 2017 escalade, my 2nd vehicle purchase from them. The Cue-system had failed previously and they had replaced the bad part, so i was not happy at all, and i was very rude to the service guy, Mr Noah Fernandez, when he told me i had to pay again to get the system working (not cheap). Let me clearly state i apologize to Mr Noah and the company for my uncalled for rudeness, irrespective of my frustrations! Anyway, Mr Noah was very professional and collected all the while and did not respond in any unkind way, demeanor or words, was actually sympathetic to my situation, and said he could only take the issue to the higher ups, which he did. One of the directors even called me on a Saturday to address the issue, went over it professionally and pulled records to see what had been replaced. The records indicated i was on the wrong, and my assumptions on what had been replaced were misguided. I accepted that and chose to move on. However, the dealership, OUT OF THEIR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE CARE, lived up to and went beyond the normal and found a way to assist and replaced the Cue-system! I was very happy about that! BUT more poignant to me is the way they handled the whole case: with professionalism, poise and grace! And I learnt a big lesson, worth more than the cost of that Cue-system! They redefined customer care for me.

I bought a new Escalade three month later I had a little fender incident when I took my car to the shop the fender was on back order so I had to wait and after waiting 4 weeks I was very angry because I did not buy a new car to sit in the Body shop because Cadillac is behind on parts so I reached out to the general manager of Sewel Cadillac of grapevine his name is Justin and told him my dilema fortunately he personally reached out to his service manager and ask that they contact all the dealers in the country to see if anyone has the part and amazingly after 9 of the 11 dealers refused to spare the part they found someone who did and had the part delivered and my car was done it was almost two months and I could have waited who knows how long possibly six months but thanks to the GM of Sewel Cadillac of grapevine Justin I will not forget this outstanding service and I am sold on this dealership

Let me first say, I have always had terrific service from Sewell Cadillac of Grapevine….until today. I pulled into the service bay and waited……and waited…..and waited. All kinds of service people walking around me, but no help. I am the only car on the service drive. I am not ABOUT to ask for help, since Sewell prides itself on such great customer service. I finally get helped, only to find out there are NO loaner cars. I was asked if I wanted to wait three hours for one that might come in. I do not. I have a job to go back to. That trip was a waste of my lunch hour. I hope my experience next time is the service that I am used to.
Gave five stars now because I was able to talk to Mr. Wrentz and discuss my experience. That kind of communication is what I am looking for. We ALL make mistakes, but how we deal with them is the difference! Thank you, Sewell and Mr. Wrentz!

Unsure how they do not have a 5 star rating. I haven't interacted with their sales team as of yet though.
Their service department is amazing. I purchased my car from another dealer and they still did (and are) going above and beyond on honoring the CPO warranty. Sure they have to, but they don't have to offer a long term loaner and they don't have to be amazing. They have done both. Concerns handled and kept me in great communication the entire time. I borderline felt like I was joining a cult because everyone is so over the top nice. Service being their obsession holds true. It isn't just your typical cheesy tag line. They have won me over and my future car service work and sales will be through them.

I've bought lot of car but Mitch went above and beyond from beginning to end. Couldn't be happier with our experience. If your looking to buy a car ask for Mitch.Then to top it off Avery sealed the deal. She was amazing as well. I had a busy week at work and she delivered my new car to me at work. Great Team Work! Had a matinence appointment set at 6:50pm called to let them be aware that we would arrive 10 minutes late and gentleman said it would be fine and to drive safe but yet failed to announce that their service department closed at 7pm. Waisted our time driving up there for nothing when we could have easily just rescheduled. Highly disapointed.

Sewell Cadillac definitely lives up to their name in customer service!! We had the honor of working with Benton and Molly, who made the buying process very enjoyable. We had a few hiccups with the first XT5 sport we wanted (recall with VIN specific part), so they put us in a loaner throughout our selecting and buying process. After much deliberation, we purchased a 2023 black XT5 Sport. It is a beautiful vehicle, and even though we switched from a new purchase to a used vehicle, the customer service never waivered. We highly recommend Sewell Cadillac (and I'm sure all of the Sewell dealerships are the same) for new or used vehicles.
