“David Flesher and his team at Grow It Land Designs have just comp leted a stunning transformation of our front yard. We've been in our home for 25 years and throughout that time it made many small changes to our landscaping, following the sun and shade. This was effective for many years. However, following The Great Texas Freeze of 2021, several scorcher summers, and the the removal of several big tree in the last two years, our front yard appeared to a be a post-apocalyptic waste land, a neighborhood eyesore, and far beyond our ability to update and repair ourselves. My wife and I had many ideas but we're not able to transfer our ideas for our yard that would fully meet the look, along with the low environmental impact and minimal maintenance requirements we wanted. In addition to the cosmetic appeal, there were extensive needs for hardscape repair, a redesign and installation for our sprinkler system, and to tackle drainage issues. We were afraid we would need to coordinate efforts and schedules for several different companies to meet this wide variety of needs. However, Grow It Land Designs had the expertise and skill set to provide a one-stop solution and resources to execute this plan to address all of our needs in a manner that wildly exceeded all of our expectations . Skills and knowledge are based expectations for any company you would wish to do business with. Grow It land designs far exceeded all expectations for landscape company, or any organization you would trust to take care of your home. Communication and responses to questions were detailed and timely. All members of the Grow It Land Design team were extremely professional, courteous, and very respectful of our needs. This was a multi week project and throughout the time they were very considerate not only of our daily family routines( including pets !! ) but also very sensitive to any concerns of our neighbors might have regarding possible disruptions during this time. “Nice nursery place with the wide varieties of asian vegetable plants, fruit trees, herbs, flower plants, etc. It’s quite spacious to walk around its outdoor space and the large indoor greenhouse. The vegetable seedlings in the greenhouse looked quite healthy. Most of plants were labeled and priced; but there were still some kinds of plants without marking the price and species.The price has been increased from $1.25 for each seedling or $18 for a tray (holding 18 seedlings) to $1.75 for each seedling or $25 for a tray nowadays.I saw one staff member in the greenhouse; she was very friendly to answer my question. However, the cashier was not quite friendly; no greeting and no smile on her face all the time.Just like some people’s complains, the parking is always the issue. It’s difficult to find the parking. There is another small parking lot in the back, but it will be better to make sure there is the parking space before you drive in, or you will need to reverse all the way out.”

“Perfect weekend to work in the garden and get our vegetable beds prepared. Our landscape contractor had gotten the most amazing soil from these guys when we did a big project a couple years ago, so we popped into see if we could find some for ourselves this year. Angelina was super helpful and we were in and out in about 15 minutes on a busy Saturday morning. Our Ridgeline easily held 1/2 cubic yard, so when we go back for decomposed granite, we will borrow a bigger pickup!”

“no Mexican feather grass and the only Texas sage are in 3 gal containers, but they have the best variety of plants in the area. this one is sooooooo better stocked than others we've been to, but seem to only have hundreds of one size of a certain variety of everything.help is sparse (glad I brought my sherpa), but knowledgeable. pots are crazy overpriced but there's something for nearly everything. great variety of organics.bought 2 pots, 7 plants and 3 packs of seeds for $100. I could do so much damage here.highly recommend but pay attention to labels. some plants sold here will not survive either winter or summer without a lot of help and there wasn't a large variety of natives or grasses. some expensive and beautiful specimens needed attention (fallen trees, broken branches, dislodged supports) and broken & cracked pots remain among the whole, so thump your pot... if it sings, it's okay... if it "thunks"... it's broke.”

“I had kept forgetting to write a review about LSGC, back in the early summer last year, and just had to get this in. One of my passions is gardening, and planting and lawn & Garden upkeep. Mainly it's more nostalgic, helping my dad when I was a kid bagging the grass, always brings back good memories. I know a lot of dad's will agree, that there is no smell better than a fresh cut lawn, with an ice cold brew in the hand at the end. I have been getting my flowers and plants from LSGC for the last few years, and they never seem to disappoint with there On-hand stock. I feel like a kid in a toy store when I take my wife shopping for plants. The customer service is spot on, these folks know there inventory, which if your into the green thumb side, that is a huge help for them to know. Swing by this place if your going for a nice landscape in the back or front yard, they have a huge selection of colorful life to brighten your yard with.”

Large selection of fruit trees & shrubs, veggies, and plant starts. Also stock the standard varieties of shrubs, shade trees, perennials. Family business with good service!”

“We *love* shopping at Calloways! We've been buying plants from them for almost ten (10!) years. Most recently, we received excellent help from Ms. Ginger and the staff putting together an entire backyard worth of plants to fill out our pool and porch.Two big reasons we keep coming back:1) Calloway has a guarantee on *all* plants, no expiry! Anytime the sun roasted a plant or it just didn't make after planting, we returned it and got a replacement! Really awesome policy for our crazy north texas weather!2) I've never met a mean soul at *any* of the locations. We frequent Southlake most, but every Calloways has had great folk ready to help us.If you're looking for a nursery to spend your flowerbed budget on, you can't go wrong here!”

“This is my "go-to" for all home needs. I am not sure there is a department I have not needed to visit at some time or another to accommodate our needs at home, inside and out. The isles are well thought out. Wide for passing with shopping baskets, the flow of one department into another, and rows of items positioned next to the rows of items that support them (i.e. paint brushes next to paint, or rakes and fertilizer next to plants). All staff are friendly and accommodating. Their general and vast knowledge combined make my life easier when I go not quite knowing just what it is I need for my project. “I placed an online order. I wanted to just stop on the way home from work, grab my order and go. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, that's exactly how quick and easy it was! As I was parking, in an Online Order Pickup spot, clearly marked with a highly visible orange sign, I couldn't help but notice a big sign giving a phone number with clear instructions on how to notify the store of our arrival, if we were having difficulty with the app. As I looked at the app to see how to check in, an employee came to my window asking if I was there to pick up my order, and she had it in her hand - I'd already let them know I was in my way. Could not have been easier! This was a great experience! I went back to Home Depot today (three days later) for screws. Going in, I was dreading a long search and a lot of head scratching while I figured out what I needed for the job I had to do, and where to find it. As luck would have it, an employee was in the Fasteners aisle! I showed him what I had, explained that I needed something similar, but longer. He helped me find what I needed, and where the package was marked with the size, so I could more easily find it myself if I have to. Within a minute, I was paying for my purchase. In the short time he helped me, he was very friendly. In the future, I won't be so intimidated about going into Home Depot with my very limited experience in all things...well, Home Depot-ish. You're doing a great job, Home Depot, and I appreciate you!”

“I've been able to find just about everything I've needed when I've done some home improvement projects with plumbing, painting, yard work, fencing, and more. Lots of quality tools and equipment to choose from. A lot of the same, experienced employees have worked here a long time. They are super nice and helpful.

When my kids were little, they really enjoy the Kids Workshops. The ladies that handle the workshops are great with kids!

When it comes to fence wood, they often have a lot of crooked planks that really can't be used. You have to sift through the piles to get good pieces.

They have a key copying machine that is pretty easy to use, but I don't like the new key options available. I just wanted some plain key handles. What they have are too fancy for me.”
