Tara is the BEST there is. Very professional, genuine, and caring! As first time homebuyers, signing for a home seemed so intimidating, until we met Tara!!! She is thorough, responsive, organized, and had our backs the entire process. I can't imagine working with another lender after working with her! We've bought 3 homes and have had the opportunity to refinance 3 times due to low interest rates. We have to tell you, working with Tara Hart - Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, on our latest refinance was such a breeze! Easier than any transaction we've ever had. We begin to work with a man named Larry McBeth. He was great toWe began to work with a man named Larry McBeth. He was great to begin with begin with begin with. I even sent him to a realtor friend of mine and he got the mortgage business. Partway through working on our refinance, as I was slowly sending in the requirements for the Fanny Mae mortgage, Larry got pissed off with me because I did not send him everything at once. He said it in email "Christian, You can stop now. I don't have time for this or you. Go somewhere else for your loan." He's like a doctor with poor bedside manners. For an older man he should know to keep his temper in check. I told my broker friend that he should reconsider using him and I forwarded the rude email that Larry and sent me.

Alex, their branch manager at the location on Story and Irving Boulevard, needs to listen to what her customers are saying. She is not always right. I spoke to a really sweet lady named Gloria that works at the customer service line or maybe the bank in Grapevine. Gloria listens to people. I had to call three times to get somebody to call me back. That is the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with at this bank. Most of their ATM's are always out of service. I have to pay ATM fees because I can't pull my own money out of theirs because it always says out of order.

I’ve had a refinance with Tara and her team and a new home purchase. I will never, ever consider another lender. I was referred to her by three friends. I thought they were crazy to be that dedicated to a lender. Who does that?! Tara walked us through the process and was there every single step. Never did I doubt she was on my side, working hard for me. Checking in on us even if nothing was needed. I’m telling you, CHOOSE YOUR LENDER. don’t go with realtor choices, otherwise you’ll regret it.

Not only Tara Hart got me the best deal for my mortgage, she also help me refinance once rates were even better a couple of years later. She is not only professional, but responsible and very dedicated to get you the best possible deal for you and your family. Communication is never a problem since she is always in contact with you thru the process and will tell you if you are in a good position or not, and will tell you why. I've recommended Tara Hart (GBS Mortgage) to family and friends. She is absolutely amazing, professional, personable, and cares about your end game. She stays in contact throughout the process and is responsive to questions, even late in the evening. Buying a house or in my case, building a house, is a big deal, especially if you've been saving for a long time to make a dream come true. There's few investments in your life when you're holding a BIG check and need to hand it over. My husband and I have stared at this check and said, this could buy a car! I'm so glad Tara was there to help me through it all. It gave some comfort knowing that someone has your back when you're making a big decision.

Worst home buying experience of my life and I was referred to GSB by a friend. GSB Mortgage did not handle our loan process well from the beginning, they changed the type of loan at the last minute, we had to sign closing documents THREE TIMES and they sold our loan before we even closed on our home, they screwed up the amortization schedule and subsequent payments and they have ZERO customer service. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE.
