I was actually there for an outdoor event in the courtyard around which the museum buildings are located. There are 5 buildings: a house, a schoolhouse, a sister cities house, a cotton gin & an ice house. The guides take you thru & explain the progression of Grapevine from a mear settlement with an agriculture economy to a city on the north edge of DFW Airport. It is a wonderful history lesson of the area. No tickets are necessary. Free.

My family and I enjoyed the museum. It was very educational and I love the other buildings that were in walking distance.

We went to the VanGogh immersive experience in Dallas. It was nice, but not as much as I was expecting. Based on the hype, I was hoping to feel immersed. The projectors covered the walls with beautiful images in all three rooms. We opted for the VIP packages and wasted another $370 above and beyond the cost. Thru were pretty lace about monitoring and we would have been much better off. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, visually compelling, a beautiful entry way, a nice gift shop and amazing staff.

Exhibits of Grapevine's history displayed throughout restored cottages, very lovely hour long diversion. Old feed mill across the street lends ambiance. 4/5 stars because the buildings at the sparking area was closed during listed open hours (midday on a Saturday).

Adjacent to a Grain Mill, the location has a main museum (which seemed to have a close sign but I might have been mistaken, they were still open in the rest of the buildings.) It's mostly a representation of the industries (cotton mill building, printing press stamps and demonstration at select times) and artifacts from the area's history (Indian arrow heads, police force equipment from some time ago, fireman axe, etc.,) whether it be political related such as elections, or a school house. The surrounding area is also worth checking out and this is a good starting point on what to check up on.
