The staff was courteous and helpful. Dr. Wells was very informative and I felt complete confidence in her ability. Overall it was a great experience considering the circumstances.

We get the best experience ever. Jose take care of my dog like he is family. He check and ask a lot of questions to have all the right info. Then we meet Dr Dinweede and they are really knowledgeable professionals. We felt in the right hands. Great clean and beautiful facilities. Service was super nice. Thanks to Jose ,Dr Dinweede and all personnel that take care of us. Really recommend this place! Thanks.

My English bulldog had BOAS surgery and got fixed as well. It was a somewhat risky procedure, and I came into it a bit worried. Everyone from the front desk to the surgeon was super nice to me and my dog, which made me feel more comfortable about the whole thing. I had some questions during recovery and they contacted me quickly and answered all of my concerns. I would recommend this place to anyone needing surgery for their pet ?

Sorsha is our 2 year old irish setter who, unfortunately, had been born with 2 bad hips. Our vet recommended we take her to DVSC in Grapevine. We met with Dr. Orencole who, because of her young age, recommended total hip replacement on both hips within a year of each other so she could live a long, happy and pain free life. Dr. Orencole performed the first surgery a year ago on Sorsha's left hip and he did an amazing job as she recovered beautifully, even with the one hip still bad, she was able to run and play like never before. A week ago he performed the second surgery and she is recovering with no issues. After she recovers from this surgery, it will be the first time in her 2 years of life that she will be pain free all thanks to Dr. Orencole and the staff at DVSC. Dr. Orencole is an amazing surgeon and I am also doing my part by following all the post surgery instructions he gave. The staff at DVSC are so kind and caring and we felt very comfortable leaving Sorsha in their care and they didn't let us down. She is home now and recovering nicely with her brother Patrick by her side.

We took our 12 year old dog in for a badly torn ACL and Dr. Orencole changed his life. First, he found a heart murmur and recommended a cardiology consult before surgery. Our dog was in heart failure and needed medication. After he was stable, Dr. Orenocole performed surgery on his hind leg. Two months later, our 12 year old pup is better than he’s been in years! He’s running and playing with his bionic leg:) I can’t recommend Dr. Orencole enough.

I took my elderly cat for a surgical consultation. After driving an hour and a half to see the specialist, the appointment began over an hour late. The staff mentioned that the schedule was overbooked. They got the wrong chart and asked me to get my cat out for his weight in the waiting area, having mistaken him for a chihuahua. We waited more in a room while hearing the staff giggle in the back about the mistake. The surgeon finally spoke with me at length, providing recommended options for surgery based on my cat "probably" having cancer. I opted for a blood draw while in office, despite the higher specialty pricing, to save my cat an extra appointment and to learn more about his health before considering surgery. I received surgical quotes promptly after the appointment, but no blood work results. I called the office 3 weeks later, after a holiday, to inquire if I missed the info. They assured me they would follow up. The next week, I emailed and called again, not having heard back. After pressing for a response or a refund for the lab work, I received a call from the surgeon. They explained that the lab had not sent the results to the office, and it seemed it went unnoticed until I called to ask for results. They indicated that the lab could not confirm if the test was done in a timely fashion or if it "sat on the counter for three weeks", and refused to refund the fee for the blood work. The surgeon indicated with no certainly of the bloodwork validity that they still recommend surgery for my cat and refused a refund for the faulty lab work, all things considered. I indicated that this was unacceptable and was told they needed to ask "higher up" to make that determination. Hearing nothing more and still receiving no results in-hand for the blood work I paid for, I followed up with my bank the following week to request a charge back. Within an hour and a half, I received a call from an administrator with the refund I had requested. I hope others have a better experience than I did. I did not feel my time, budget, polite requests, or my cat's health were ever a priority.

So impressed with this facility- from the front desk to the techs and Dr. Ornecle! They have all been super helpful during our dog's broken leg surgery. They answer questions in a timely manner and always refer to you pet as your baby or me as the "mom". Makes you feel like they really care about your fur baby! Clean facilities. Very patient staff as I watch them interact with other pets in the waiting area.

Dr. Wells was fabulous with our little Mozzy & did an exceptional job with his left rear knee surgery. The vet techs were especially wonderful in taking great care of Mozzy with his post-op needs before coming home. When he was home. I kept him in his crate except when I leashed him to potty. He ate his food in his normal spot 5 feet away from his crate. He healed exceptionally well. His pain was horrible but he has healed well. Thank you, Dr. Wells & Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center! You all are simply amazing!!!
