My 4 year old daughter has enjoyed going to the Pillars, especially having Ms. Tiahn. When we mention other teachers from other schools, she’ll still say no about them but is always saying I like Ms. Tiahn! The daily app/email updates are great!

We started at Colleyville Christian Preschool almost 2 years ago. When we learned it was acquired by The Pillars earlier this year, we were nervous about what that meant for the teachers we adored and the quality of care we had become accustomed to. Almost immediately, we were pleasantly surprised by all the positive changes, security enhancements and other investments they have made and are continuing to make to the school. The previous teachers our boys love have remained, new staff, including the director Miss Tiffany, have been wonderful additions to the school community. There’s always someone that greets you when you come and go, the Procare app is wonderful to provide updates throughout the day, they are quick to respond to emails, etc., which wasn’t the case with the previous owners. The remodel is beautiful, and the addition of the kitchen to offer meals and snacks has been an awesome upgrade. My boys eat well and never get bored of the variety of food and snacks they offer. I’ve also sent my oldest there for summer camp this summer, and he’s had so much fun at all the field trips to the zoo, splash pads, museums, and ending with a week of VBS. What I am the most excited about with the upgrades is the addition of the infant and young toddler classes which weren’t offered prior. I am moving my young toddler there next month and can’t be more excited about the care he will receive. I have used Primrose previously, but The Pillars blows Primrose out of the water. Between the quality of care, Christian foundation, and prioritizing the growth and wellbeing of your child— Pillars is the best. Primrose was more focused on accelerating my kids to get to the next class just so they can backfill their spot to increase their enrollment numbers, and not because they were truly ready. I highly recommend The Pillars!

Our family absolutely loves The Pillars. Ms. Tiffany is there every morning greeting us with a smile and even helps us get our girls in, even when they are too sleepy to come in.. Ms. Katrina has been there longer than The Pillars has and has been the constant rock for everyone as the school was sold to The Pillars.
I seriously doubted the promised 4 week remodel The Pillars promised families but they did it unbelievably and beautifully.
I especially love that they have an infant/toddler and school age area that didn't exist before. This means we can stay at The Pillars even longer and if we ever decide to have more children, we can stay even longer!

The staff and leadership at this learning center have been absolutely amazing. Every time I go in to pick my little one they are always smiling and interacting with theirs students. My daughter adores everyone there, and always makes sure to give plenty of hugs on her way out Every time I pick her up. My daughter and I are lucky to have them.

We were nervous when the previous administration left, we loved Colleyville Christian and that's where my girls were most of their young years. However we have been blown away with the love, accommodation, and professionalism of the Pillars. Miss Katrina is amazing (as always) and Ms. Tiffany is phenomenal. They have bent over backwards to help us fine great childcare and create a supportive, confidence building environment. They're even helping to expand the food choices my girls will make. Thank you Pillars!!!

The school name use to be Colleyville Christian Preschool. It was about 4 years ago my girl attended to this school. Her last teacher was an old lady who is a friend with the owner. Unfortunately, she used punishments such as strong grabbing or take away snacks from kids. My girl was very sweet, she had no problem with other teachers until she move to this teacher. She would come home and told me the teacher throw away her snack and hurt her by grabbing. I reported twice to the school owner, my respond from her is that : " we had some body observed in the classroom and we did not see that happen.I think your girl is lying" I was very disappointed and redraw my girl from the school right away to protect her. I don't know if the teacher is still working there today, but being the preschool owner who should know all the regulation and what is prohibited punishment, however still trying to cover the behaviors of the teacher who is her friend is what the owner did. I MEAN WHO will do that again if you know somebody is observing you! My husband did not want me to write the review after what happened. Now I finally decided to tell this to the public, I know it is a bit late but my conscience is telling me that I need to do this even this happened four years ago. I gave two star because my girl's first teacher is awsome, but she left the school.

Our daughters attended CCP for 2 years. The curriculum and teachers were wonderful. The director runs a well organized and structured preschool. I felt she worked with me, as a working mom who sometimes ran late or needed to change the days my children went (mid-year). We felt communication was on par with other schools we've been too.

We had a very negative experience with this school. They do not communicate well with parents and they are constantly changing teachers. Both of my kids had 4+ teachers each during their 5-6 months in attendance. There were frequently times when my son couldn't even tell us his teachers name and we didn't even know that it had changed. I then showed up on a Tuesday at 5pm and their belongings were packed by the front door with a letter stating that my son was no longer welcome. We had no notice and no indication that he was in jeopardy of expulsion prior to this. As a two parent working household this was a struggle in the middle of the month, middle of the week, and 1 week before the beginning of my sons preK year. In the end we are so grateful to have moved on to a better place, but if you are considering your childcare options I would encourage you to keep looking.

My daughter attended Colleyville Christian School since she was 20 months old all the way to Kindergarten and I could not be more thankful for the loving care the staff provides. I researched lots of other places before choosing this one, I literally had paid for enrollment somewhere else; but when I met this school I knew this was the place for us! And I was right! This is not a franchise, this is a family owned business that cares about every detail! The Director, Ms Diane, is always there to make sure the kids are being treated with care and respect. Ms Stephanie (who has her first and last teacher, how awesome is that?!) is absolutely the best! My daughter still talks about her! In addition to all that, my daughter is soooo advanced in her reading and math!! I cannot say enough about how much we love Colleyville Christian and can't wait to get my new baby there!!!

My son attended Colleyville Christian School for Pre-K and Kinder and he is now in 3rd grade. Before Kinder, we moved to East Dallas and made the drive all the way to Colleyville because we did not want to leave this gem of a school! (In fact, I asked if they would open a 2nd location!) When we first toured the school, I was extremely impressed at the set-up. There are shelves upon shelves of books, plenty of educational games and toys, and, my favorite part is the village. The school has a village set up with a post-office, store, and other places to teach the kids life skills! Incredibly important and rarely found in standard schools let alone Pre-K. When we first spoke to the Director, she mentioned that not only was an academic curriculum critical, but teaching kids how to raise their hands, stand in line, and other skills needed for a successful transition to elementary - well, I was sold. Yes, there are rules and standards that must be met, but in my opinion, that only helps children understand how to navigate through life. I, personally, prefer expectations over coddling. My son had the most wonderful experience, and as parents, so did we. They have a perfect blend of curriculum and creativity. The kids learned about various cultures around the globe through language and cuisine, important artists, architecture, and history. It was incredibly enriching for my child and can only imagine it has gotten better over the years. The teachers and staff are the most loving and wonderful people who have helped me raise a polite and well-behaved young man, and I have to believe that his kindness and consideration was heavily influenced by the staff at CCS. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for the time our son spent at the school. He made lifelong friends and we still remain in touch today.

My daughter went here from when she was almost 2 through Pre-K. We love this school so very much, it became one of our favorite places to be. The teachers & staff are all wonderful and she made lasting friendships that she even had come to her birthday party this year now that she's in kindergarten. The curriculum is amazing for each age group and set her up for success in grade school, she is ahead of the curve now. They also have a lot of fun in the classrooms and created beautiful art everyday that was sent home and we loved decorating our fridge with. She always had wonderful stories to share about what happened each day. Our family highly recommends this school. I am currently pregnant with our second child and will definitely be enrolling her into the school when she gets a little older.

I find the significant teacher turnover rate highly concerning. Contrary to the Director's take that it is the "nature of the beast", this is not normal. Instead, it is a managerial issue--it starts with the leadership. When the leadership is lacking, so will be the quality of care. Don't be fooled by the name of the school but instead pray for them.
