My experience with the service department was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had with ANY business, car dealership or otherwise. I was lied to, scammed, and taken advantage of, and your staff didn't give a damn. Classic Chevrolet sold me an "Certified" pre owned Yukon that had rodent damage in the wiring. They refused to take any responsibility for it and couldn't have cared less when I was upset. The dealership and service managers never even answered my emails. They are unresponsive and unhelpful, and making no effort to resolve. Even the girls at the checkout desk said "that's wrong. You shouldn't have to pay for that." This dealership truly does not care and will absolutely screw you. I wish I could give them zero stars.

customer service is horrific. had 830 appointment to get oil change. drove an hour and waited an hour - car still hadn't been started. I asked what the delay was and they said the machine wasn't working. no one called me or notified me there would be a delay or asked if I wanted to reschedule. they blow you up to get services scheduled and perform horribly. choose a different dealership if you want a good experience.

I recently took my chevy silverado to grapevine for a blinking check engine light. My service adviser (Y.C.) says that there was a line of people, but they would evaluate the problem in 3-4 business days. After a week of waiting (with no loaner vehicle) with no communication or update after multiple times of me calling and no returned calls, I contacted the service manager who was then able to have the service advisor finally call me to providd an update. His update was I would need to wait 3-4 weeks until my truck saw a shop due to me being 27th in line, which I previously had no knowledge of. After I confronted him about not giving me any updates, he asked if I would like to receive an update everyday going forward (sarcastically). I let him know I would get my truck in the morning and take it to another chevy dealership. He made sure to tell me to do my research before I take it elsewhere causing myself further dissatisfaction and then end up bringing it back to him to move further back down the line. I took my vehicle to another local chevy dealership, had an update the same day, and currently have it back in my care as of less then a week. I do not recommend there servicing department for anything due to there lack of communication and poor customer service.

I would look elsewhere to purchase a new vehicle. Salesperson tossed us aside. We've purchased vehicles from other dealerships this year and have never had this type of experience. We were trying to purchase a suburban that they had in stock and provided some details on how we would purchase the vehicle right from the beginning. After we informed our salesperson, if you can even call him that, he seemed disinterested in us. We told him which one we were interested in and he said he would bring the vehicle for us to see. After around 30-40 minutes we were still waiting for him to bring us the suv. Another employee , assured us that he would go and give us an update. ( He was very helpful) When we look outside we see our salesperson talking to other clients and with no suburban in sight, since I guess it seemed we weren't worth his time? It honestly felt very demeaning being thrown aside like that so we thanked the employee that tried to help us and took our business elsewhere. I recommend going to Friendly Chevrolet as they helped us purchase our new vehicle within the same hour we left Classic Chevrolet :) Worst dealership experience ever 0 stars

The guy at the service desk (parts) was rude from the very beginning and parts are over priced.

The service department is absolute garbage. Beware, they don't like doing warranty work. They will use a line such as " we can't reproduce the problem that you're having". They tried this line on us 2 different times we've had it in the shop there. We had to research the problem ourselves and make videos of the vehicle when it was making strange sounds even though they had video proof they still would try feed us that B.S. line. They service staff tries to talk to you like you're stupid but, what they don't know is I have a background as an automotive mechanic. I will never do business with them again and I tell everyone I know not to do business there either

I have been a customer of the Classic Chevy service department for 13 years. I took my car in for my state inspection the beginning of October and it passed no problem. Two weeks later I ended up having my car towed back to the service department because it was making an extremely loud grinding noise and a ticking noise. Initially they told me they could not hear the ticking and told me I needed new rear brakes, rotors, sway bar links, a drivers side engine mount and a few other small things. I'm not sure how my car managed to pass inspection. After completing those repairs and a few days with my car, they then told me they located the tick, which was bad lifters and camshaft, that needed to be replaced. They quoted me just over $8k for the lifters and camshaft, just over $5k of that was from labor alone. I declined those repairs and went and picked my car up. About a mile down the road my check engine light and traction control light came on and my car started running so rough it was making my cheeks vibrate. I called my service advisor to let him know but they were already closed for the evening. I took my car back in immediately the next day. I told them when I dropped my car off, neither the check engine light or traction control light was on and it was not running rough at all. I also mentioned that it specifically says on my invoice that upon intake "CUSTOMER STATES WHEN APPLYING BRAKES MAKES A LOUD GRINDING SOUND, TOWED IN." Nothing about running rough, check engine light or traction control light. It also stated "REPLACED REAR BRAKE PADS, HARDWARE, BOTH ROTORS. CLEANED AND LUBRICATED CALIPER GUIDE PINS. CLEANED AND ADJUSTED PARK BRAKE SHOES. NOTE: AFTER BRAKE REPAIRS NOTED ENGINE HAD ROUGH IDLE ON START UP. DURING ROAD TEST, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. My service advisor took me in to speak to the, I believe service manager. We explained the situation and he looked up at me and seemingly annoyed said, "And..... What would you like me to do to help you?" After myself and my husband had gone back and forth with them for 10-15 minutes and explaining that I received my car back in worse condition than when I dropped it off, he offered no help and said it was a coincidence. I ended up taking my car to Ethridge Auto Center in Colleyville. They confirmed the lifters were bad and needed to be replaced. Craig at Ethridge said we caught the problem early and he did not believe there was any damage to the camshaft. The quote for the lifters alone was $3500 and he said if the camshaft also needed to be repaired the cost would be between $5500-$6k I am incredibly disappointed with my experience at Classic Chevy. They are price gouging and dishonest. And before this experience, for the last 13 years, I've never taken my car anywhere else. I will not be returning for any reason.

After years of buying vehicles here I'm blown away by the used car vibe now. I had an agreement on a trade and at the paperwork stage a new manager tried to lower the price by an additional 2k when I arrived at the used car lot. Then when I told him to shop trying to work me he blew up at me and couldn't handle any pressure back on the fact that's terrible business. I've bought many cars from them and never will again.

I decided to sell my Honda Accord about six months ago. Prior to contacting Classic Chevrolet, I researched a few dealerships and the process of selling a vehicle without purchasing a new one online. Classic Chevrolet gave me a purchase estimate online based on the information that I provided. A few hours later, I contacted the dealership to schedule a time to have my car inspected for purchase. When I arrived, they took my keys to inspect my vehicle and returned about 30 minutes or less later to confirm the written estimate for purchase. After I accepted the offer, we started the paperwork to sell my vehicle. The process is very easy and their staff is very professional. I can't remember the names of the individuals that helped me but I am satisfied with the process and the sell price. If you are in the market to sell your vehicle, do your research and compare more than one dealership to get the best price. Classic Chevrolet could be the highest bidder. Ask questions and come prepared with all the documents requested to make the selling process easier. I highly recommend Classic Chevrolet for selling your vehicle.

If I could give it less stars I would. The service department is lacking in communication skills, empathy and common knowledge. They are however good at passing the buck. It's never their fault because they are "busy". Battling check engine light for over a year and still no answer. Just told to drive with check engine light on. STAY away. Do yourself a favor go to a Sewell they care. It's not like the GM Mr. Ward will call you back anyway once you buy they don't care about service.

Worst customer service and lies told to customer. "Company policies" are not understood by all employees or communicated well to customers. Spoke to 3 different people over the past week about car repairs - One said we could pay by credit card no problem even if it the card on file isn't the same as owner of vehicle (happens all the time with family and friends helping each other out). One said the credit card has to match the name on title and if not, has to be cash or money order, which is just ridiculous! Not everyone has thousands of dollars of cash on hand. The other person said they don't know why it would matter either way and had never heard of this policy. Basically moved forward with the process trusting what the first person told us was accurate and now they are adamant we have to pay by cash?! This place is a mess and would give 0 stars if I could. Will never go back here for Chevy needs. And we are a long time Chevy family. Very frustrated we are now stuck paying close to $3k in cash.

My service experience was very good as far as the speed and professionalism shown by my service advisor Vaughn. If that was where things ended, I would be writing a glowing 5 star review. But, as with many things, they change when dealing with money. I received my credit card charge and realized that I was charged an amount more than what my receipt was for. After talking to my service advisor, he said that they add a charge onto credit card transactions to cover the credit card fee that they receive from the credit card companies. This 3% fee was not disclosed to me at the time I paid. This fee was not disclosed at any time during my interaction with Classic Chevrolet. This is not the way to conduct business. I chose Classic because it is close by my neighborhood and I was very impressed by the actual service I received. But, I will more than likely NOT be back and I will advise anyone that will listen to me to NOT take any business to Classic Chevrolet or to NOT buy a vehicle from Classic Chevrolet. I am also pretty sure that if Classic Chevrolet does read this review, they will not care.

I had the opportunity to schedule maintenance and warranty items for my 2016 Corvette. The communication was horrible. It took me 2 days and literally 12 phone calls/text messages to my service advisor/service manager for them to respond to find out if they had covered all of the issues I brought my car in for as well as regular maintenance. I took my car in for 30,000 mile service and they tried to tell me that I needed 3 additional services that totaled about $1000. I looked up the maintenance schedule on Chevy website and those additional services were not required until 45,000 miles. I told them do not do anything but the listed service which was oil change and air filter. When I went to pick up my car, they had changed the tranny fluids and charged me $150. I refused to pay for the service and told them to listen to their "recorded" phone calls for verification. I will be finding another Chevy Desler for future services. Also, as I was waiting for my rental car, a gentleman asked me how my dealings had been. Told him it was my first time. He told me he was HOT. He had serviced his suburban (replaced the starter) and the next dat the same issue, car not starting. He had it towed back to the dealership and they refused to warranty the item and said it was working when he drove it off the lot. He hired sn attorney for GP.

I was looking for a pre-owned Corvette not intending to buy but just viewing what was available. Engaged with the salesman and saw a beautiful 1995 low mileage Corvette. I asked about the mileage and he said 11k, I also noticed a large deep scratch above the driver side door that he said could be buffed out. I then asked about final pricing because I hate the salesman game they play and he brought me to his "director" that sits in a perch about three feet above the floor level so they can look down at you. I asked him why should I buy from you instead of Sewell, he thought awhile and said customer service. I thought lets see if they walk the walk. I knew they wouldn't come down on the pricing because of the market. After a day of thinking about it I called back and told him I would take it, he forwarded the invoice and noticed the actual mileage was 13600 not the 11k he told me. I asked about it and he basically pretended that he didn't know what I was talking about. He told me his finance guy would call me within the hour. Apparently this must be a very busy "pre-owned" dealership because I never received any call until the next day. He asked about financing and I told him I would pay in cash. The finance guy then sent over some maintenance packages I could look at. I selected two within two hours of receiving his email and waited for the final price. End of day comes and still no final price. I sent a note to the salesman informing him I have yet to get the final pricing (need time to get the cash) and he said he would send it shortly. End of day comes and I get the final pricing around 5pm, no follow-up call. Long story short, maybe I am old fashioned but I thought all night on how I was treated throughout this process. Only receiving information when they were ready and it was convenient for them. Discrepancy with the mileage and no explanation, if you make a mistake just say so but that silence spoke volumes. Well I decided to pull out of the deal and go somewhere that I felt I would be the focus. Never going back.
