I wanted to like this place because my dog really enjoys coming here and loves the staff. Unfortunately, after several situations, I no longer feel I can trust the honesty and transparency around my puppy’s care.
The first issue, I dropped my puppy off with lunch, as I typically do. When I checked the cameras, I noticed he wasn’t taken back to eat like usual. At pickup, a staff member asked if he had come with lunch and seemed unaware. I said yes. The manager then brought up his lunch box and said he had been fed. However, his metal bowl was returned completely clean, unlike all the other visits where there were clear lick marks and food residue. I can’t say exactly what happened, but the situation left me uneasy about whether he was fed.
On a separate drop off, a staff member told me there was a kennel cough outbreak after noticing my puppy cough during drop-off. I was told other dogs had been picked up or turned away. I was told I would need a vet clearance before returning. After leaving, I noticed multiple people dropping off their dogs without issue, and when I asked one person, they said they had not been informed of any outbreak. I was not sure if this was made up or they were not informing others.
I paid for a vet visit, where my puppy was confirmed cleared. When I later spoke directly with management, I was told there was no outbreak (possibly only a few dogs). Only after that conversation was I told emails would be sent, but I never received one following that. This concerned me given the reservation for my 5 month old puppy was confirmed that same morning.
During a recent visit, I observed a staff member appear visibly annoyed with my puppy on the cameras. Him and another dog were separated during play, which I understood given his size (64 lbs) and high energy, he was not being aggressive nor extreme. This wasn’t an issue, but later, I noticed the staff member was filling up the water bowl while my puppy was on the opposite side of the area. Not bothering her or the other dog, he runs back into the play area, and I see her shake her head in annoyance. Yes, he's a large, energetic puppy whose only goal is to play, but seeing the frustration directed at him in a setting I pay for him to exercise and socialize was upsetting.
None of these incidents alone would have made me stop coming, but together they show a clear pattern of poor communication and lack of transparency. I consistently tried to advocate for my puppy respectfully, but felt the underlying issues were never addressed, just redirected. I also found myself repeatedly having to ask them to ensure my puppy was drinking water throughout his stay, which further contributed to my discomfort. While I appreciate the two free days, I do not trust they can meet my puppy's needs appropriately.

Our doodle absolutely loves this place. She used to hate car rides until she realized 90% of the time this is where we were taking her. Now she’s dragging me to the backseat & to the front door of this place every single time lol. She was a super shy puppy & now she’s been going here about 4-5 months & shes full of personality & i feel like this place has totally changed her temperament in a positive way. This is a great place to let your dog get exercise & socialize. I can’t talk highly enough about this location!! We love the staff & they make our Powder feel so special!!!

I tried to contact this location to set up boarding for my dog, as we just moved to the area and I’ve had great experiences at other locations. I’ve called about eight times over the last 24 hours and haven’t been able to get anyone to answer the phone. If I can’t even reach someone to ask basic questions, I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable sending my dog here.

My little Louie absolutely loves it here. The staff are so amazing in caring for your pups and even provide fun activities. Louie always comes home sleepy from all the fun he has! The cameras are honestly a nice relief when I want to check on him during the day. I definitely recommend!

Our first time was seamless for both me and my dog. The staff was so friendly & the owner was there when I came to pick up my dog. I really appreciate the hands-on approach! We will definitely be regulars for daycare each month.
*The first day at camp photo is an adorable gesture too!
Editing: my dog ended up with dog flu/ gnarly cough in 2023. I emailed them to let them know and they didn’t care how my dog was or put any safety measures in place. Just be cautious with your dogs going here. We found another place that requires dog flu vaccines on top or everything else that CBW requires for everyone.

Jax enjoyed his camper interview and played for 3 hours! I took great comfort in the welcome we received and the full tour of the entire facility. These folks are caring and passionate about what they do.When I picked Jax up, he had a great big smile on his face!I got to watch him the entire time he was there on the webcam, which was a great comfort. While I was in the waiting room, a sweet doodle came in and went straight back to play and did not even tell her dad “bye”. It was another sense of relief of seeing how excited these pups are to come in and go play!Jax fell asleep on the short car ride home and was worn out. This is exactly what he needs during the day while his boring ol mom works from home ;)We will be going back this weekend!
