It’s easy to see that the team at this store strives for top service. The store manager, who’s been there for years, is very friendly and helpful. Even when my watch repair required more than a battery replacement, she gave me options, including going through the manufacturer instead of the store. Their focus is on the customer, not on how to make the most profit. Very honest jewelry store! They deserve no less than 5 stars!

Read here if you're considering Almar's for luxury watch service. Brought in my brand new Omega Seamaster for sizing after reading all the positive reviews. Typically, I'd size my own watch bracelets, but Omega's come from factory with loctite so I thought I'd have a jeweler do it. The person working up front was very nice and when I asked if they were comfortable working on Omega's they said yes. I mentioned the factory loctite and that I'd heard heat is usually needed to soften the loctite before removing the screws. They took the watch back and a few minutes later returned it, but with 3 damaged screw heads. I'm not sure if no heat was used, or the wrong screw driver, or carelessness. Maybe all 3. They were apologetic and I appreciated that. I understand they're offering complimentary watch sizing (and I love to support local businesses), but if your'e not sure you can do something without damaging it, you should not tell me you're comfortable with it nor offer the service to me. Of course there is nothing that can be done and again, I appreciated the kindness and candor from the person who helped me, but keep this in mind if you're considering bringing your luxury watch to them. 3 stars only for the courtesy at the front counter.

Went to have my watch bracelet adjusted. They were so friendly, did It very quickly and didn’t charge me a cent. I will be taking them my business from now on.

I am compelled to write this review. I have been to Almar Jewelers on a few occasions. Generally, I have needed something small to be done. I have had links removed from a watch band. I have had a charm added to a bracelet. I've had a ring repaired. these are all small and insignificant tasks to a jeweler, but they meant a lot to me. The watch was sized, as I waited, so that it could be worn on a trip for which we departed the next day. The charm was added, as I waited, in a manner which allowed my granddaughter to wear it for a special occasion. As I said, small things to a business, but huge to me. Each time I have visited Alma, I have been treated as if I have spent thousands of dollars there. I've not. I hope that I get the opportunity to spend some good money at Almar. Simply put, I know that I will receive a value for that money, and that I will be treated as though my visit, and subsequent purchase, is very important to them. That is what they do. Need a jeweler? Go to Almar.

I wish I could give Almar more than five stars! I needed an earring post to be reshaped and a small sapphire in my antique wedding band replaced. The gentleman behind the counter (the owner?) took my earring and repaired it on the spot, and didn’t charge me a dime. He told me the ring would be about a week to fix and shouldn’t cost much.I came back in a few days later to pick up the ring because I’d gotten some travel dates wrong and wanted to have my piece with me. I asked if they could possibly have it ready the next day — without any to-do or fuss, they said it would be ready that same day!! In less than an hour, I had my ring back and the repair was beautifully done and ridiculously inexpensive. Everyone I dealt with went out of their way to be kind and accommodating. As long as I live in Texas, this will be my one and only jewelry repair shop!! You don’t see customer service like this anywhere anymore. Truly a “rare gem”! Pun intended.Thank you Almar!

I didn't buy this watch here but one of the Roman number fell off and it dropped down in the gear box. I couldn't send back to Bulova because it was out of warranty. I decided to see if anyone could fix. They said give them half hour. Now it is a good as new! I asked how much and they said no charge!! Quality work, quality people!!

Stopped in to fix bent prong on ring. Jeweler fixed prong while I waited and cleaned all my rings too for free. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.

Almar has my business for life from here on out. Had a custom mens wedding ring done from my grandmas wedding ring which turned out amazing, couldn’t have asked for better. Customer service was great and always feel welcomed. Thanks Almar and staff for everything! Truly a great business and will be telling all family and friends if they have jewelry needs.PS: This pic does not do it justice but had to show it off… it’s beautiful in person.
