I live in burleson and don't like city traffic so I am willing to travel the twenty five minutes to Grandview to pick up all the grass-fed beef products that I want. The Fort Worth store does have more variety, so on certain occasions, I will travel there to have those options. There is simply no comparison in quality and taste of their grass- beef products compared to the dyed, hormone, steroid & antibiotic-laced beef in grocery stores. A normal serving size of protein per meal is the size of a deck of cards, or about four ounces. One of the rump roasts weighs 2 pounds and 12 oz, so you can do the math. How many portion servings you will get out of just one roast. I usually slow, cook them in my instant pot and literally it falls apart and melts in your mouth. I also feed it to NY senior beagle Because he deserves the best in his old age.

If coming out to the Grandview, TX headquarters, grab a copy of the "Unschool Discoveries" book on sale at Burgundy Pasture Beef in Grandview. It is an absolute delightful read for kids and adults! This engaging book complements the ethos of the store, which prides itself on transparency and natural sustainable quality. I normally go to the ft worth location but I wanted to check out the original location with my daughter. Nice scenic Country drive & even better experience inside the store. She even helped me carry my bags of meat out to my truck. Outstanding service!

The integrity of the beef is OK - sort of that of frozen. I really tried to get over the fact that I was paying premium for beef and the country fella selling it sure was nice. However, the fact that it was grass-fed was obvious - no new technology here. And, that I bought frozen was not showing how growth minded I was to a fault. Yeah, the fault was that it was, indeed, frozen meat for dinner :(. The sausage was super fatty and gamey.

Bought some chicken wings and they were the juiciest, best wings I’ve grilled. Will definitely try the other meats.Customer service was amazing. The price is higher than Chain grocery stores but that’s to be expected and the quality is great. So glad I found this place.

The beef is okay, but nothing to write home about. It's outrageously overpriced. They charge nine dollars a pound for tough, low quality roast, which is what you can pay for USDA Choice steak. Speaking of USDA, their meat isn't graded. It is inspected, but that means nothing more than it's fit for human consumption. It may be nice for the cows to wander around eating grass, but I don't recommend anyone buy it for the quality of the beef. If you are concerned with animal treatment, just eat less meat.BTW, for people who don't understand beef quality, it's supposed to be fatty. That's called marbling, and the more of it there is, the higher the grade. USDA Prime has the most marbling. The fat makes the beef more juicy. The lowest grade (Select) has the least amount of fat. As for tenderness, younger cattle are a better choice. The trouble with grass feeding is that it takes the animals longer to get fat, which makes the meat less tender. So cattle that are penned up and fed large amounts of grain create the highest quality beef. It may not be very humane, but that's just the way it is.

Not as good the first time I purchased meat here. The second and third visit all my cuts had too much fat to justify paying $26 for a cut.Not sure if I would come back

Places like this are rare. Attention to quality and detail is king here, grass fed goodness. Its pricey but being a business owner I get it. It takes money to do this kind of quality as a small business.
