I went with Woodforest because I couldn't find any references to them and ESG. However, they are excrutiatingly slow. It took me forever to open an account in the first place then, when I tried to transfer my other bank's account into Woodforest it took me 45 minutes for them to enter the cashier's check! For some reason they needed "upper management" to approve cashing a cashier's check. I don't want to waste time at a bank that takes 45 minutes just to deposit a payment. That's bad customer service.

I don’t usually post excellent reviews about banks. But I had to this time. I had a call this morning from Brian Williams in regards of my overdraft. I answered and started crying. So embarrassed. He is the most compassionate man out there and went above and beyond to help me. Went the extra mile to help. Despite the negative reviews out there, this man deserves a 5+ star review ?

Took a $100 bill into this branch and Teller told me she couldn't break it for me because I'm not a member of the bank. Well guess what.... I now will never be. That's a horrible way to represent your bank.

Business hours say they close at 7 pm, however Lindsay Austin decided to close the place down early. I got there at 6:50 and she refused to service me (told the available trainee that was willing to help) that they can’t put money into my account from another account. I asked what time they close, she said 7 but they close certain things down early (6:30) Therefore they need to update their business hours.

I came all the way across town to this bank on a Saturday because the website says it opens at 9. Me and another customer stood there for 20 minutes until the Walmart associate told us they open at 10. CHANGE THE WEBSITE TIME! I chose this bank because of the hours. Now it’s time to change!
