Be aware there’s a beeping sound from the fire raiser room that’s been bothering me since I moved I told management about it they did nothing (Melanie the manager will play an act from Hollywood so don’t fall for that she’s just acting), kept giving me false promises, my bedroom is above that room and the noise is horrible during the night you can’t sleep, be aware.

I’ll start by saying the person that helped me move in was Kelley & she’s the reason that I had high hopes for this complex. She shortly left after I moved because of drama between the women & her in the leasing office. My unit had no problems whatsoever besides wasps nests on the balcony, which I consistently put in work orders for since there is a pest control fee so I should not have a problem with any type of pests. I overly communicated that I wanted those nests gone, and it took them the whole summer to figure it out. In the mist of it, I had parking problems because there simply wasn’t enough parking for tenants around my building, so that resulted in me having to park in front of the leasing office. Bright and early 3 mins after the office opens, I received a voicemail from Melany to move my car or it will be towed. I woke up and after hearing that message, panicked bc I thought my car was gone by now since it’s 3 hours later. Y’all couldn’t have picked up the phone or resolve my pest issue but was so quick to call me about my car parked in front at a place I pay rent for? Cool. Upon moving out, my roommate and I had a maintenance guy help us out with our moving out process. All he did was talk about s*x and women then ask us to engage in inappropriate activities with him. (he later on continued to message my roommate. he knew better than to reach out to me, however he did find me on facebook so someone in the leasing office must’ve gave him my full name because I am hard to find on social media for a reason. I take my safety seriously. I never gave this man my last name either.) After move out, we were charged for the stove but when we moved in I told Kelley about the stove (maintenance did come to “fix” the problem but the scratch was still there so we thought it wasn’t a big deal) & since she no longer works there I couldn’t prove that the stove was scratch beforehand, I only had pictures that wasn’t enough proof for them. Every time I talked to anyone from the leasing office, they would be extremely condescending and I felt very belittled by them. To newcomers, please don’t touch anything in the model units because an employee of the complex told me any “relations” the women in office had with the maintenance staff was done so in those model units. Mind you these women in the leasing office are married/in relationships so if you don’t want to be belittled or taken advantage of financially, it’s best to not lease here.
*Despite being spoken to in a certain manner that I never appreciated, Mellany was overall helpful
about a lot of issues I had throughout my 13 months there. It just took consistency for her to listen to my problems.*

0 STAR READ BEFORE RENTING.....Reposting/updating. 9/23/2024 My lease is finally up THANK GOD I will be out of these apartments on September 30th for the next people that get this apartment # 6301 I wish you well. The girls that lived at the bottom from me stated on my previous post also have moved out they weren't here for long either. Believe all the posts you see about these apartments there is a reason why there are so many available units and the price for them is good. The property manager MELLANY is HORRIBLE the act initially is FAKE she will talk over you and make you feel a sort of way even the maintenance himself told me the office ladies don't care for her that should say enough. I am in the process of starting my own business and I would never have some like her representing my name.
PREVIOUS POST.....0 star…Date 12/14/2023 I currently live here going on my 2 year and that's only because I didn't find anything else within the time frame I needed. If I had the money I would break my lease and go on about my way. So many problems where do I start management "MELLANY" doesn't give a F*** about the tenants they put this fake voice like they care but they just want the money moving in was horrible our apt was not cleaned properly, doors didn’t close right, oven doesn’t work right, our sink faucet was leaking we were told before moving in our personal wash and dryer fit which are full load so that took the 40$ charge off of us we came they didn't not fit come to find out the only fit front load wash and dryer, cant have them put in ones cause we don't have room to put our now me and my mother have to wash at a laundromat Now on to the big issue that has affected myself my mothers skin and hair ( see picture of the orange tent I speak of from water) I have no clue what is wrong with there water here but I used to live in Arlington no issue came here and our hair started thinning my mothers skin broke out luckily my son is ok. Within the first months I was noticing a difference I'm thinking its my hair products I've used for years no there water isn't filtered leave an orange tent in shower heads around toilet bowl and my own shower caddy they say they haven’t gotten any complaints but FYI I have a brother that lives in the same complex just different building and he has the same issue. I've gotten my own shower filters which is supposed to last 6 months here nope only a month I'm doing what I need to do to help with the issue but it costs money that I shouldn’t have to spend. I called the Grand Prairie water supply which they checked everything was good so they confirmed it was the complex which of course didn’t little to nothing about maintenance drained the water heater after property manager "MELLANY" didn’t bother to check try something else nothing. Not to mention there were leaks coming from our apartment to the down stairs apartment and the only reason that issue was fixed fast was because that apartment at the time was for show to the public now two ladies live there and they don’t even know the issues they’ve walked into. If you made it this far DON’T MOVE HERE!!!!!!! (see pic’s below of the water orange tent of a filter that's supposed to last 6 months but can only last a month here looks like and leak we had that warped around the walls)

Don’t listen to the reviews. They overcharge and management is poorly constructed. Living in the economy we’re all in we all can agree that times are rough. For them to be as money hungry as they are and act completely clueless is pure evil. Everything is unjust. If I could give a negative star I would. Do NOT rent. Trust the 1 star reviews and save yourself. Unnecessary fees, towing for no reason when NO notice was sent should be illegal. Paying extra for the gym to not work when the fixes are incredibly easy. Alyssa isn’t what she seems. It’s a facade to set a new tenant up for her commission which is truly sickening. Diana was cool but all in all PLEASE avoid this place. Truly.

Think again before renting here. I was not happy with the staff at this location. Diana was amazing so I want to preface with that. I don’t want to go into details about my experience but the property manager was not accommodating and very condescending. She was not willing to rectify a mistake they made and spoke to me as if it was my error. It ultimately cost them a tenant. I reached out to corporate on several occasions and did not receive a response. I am still waiting for their response by the way. I hate to say it was racially motivated but it certainly felt that way. Their mistake ultimately cost me an additional $400 per month in rent and still have not received so much as an apology.

My husband and I have been searching for a newer apartment complex that is also dog friendly. We came across Winding Creek and visited with Mya who was very friendly and happy to help. She was attentive and knowledgeable. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and look forward to moving to the area. It is also near plenty of new places to shop and eat.

Why isn’t there an option for 10 stars?
Nearly homeless and had a place to call home within 3 days, all thanks to Mya! I owe her lunch because without her I’d be homeless and still searching. I 10/10 recommend, I am inlove with my new home! ❤️

My wife & I are moving to Grand Prairie soon, so we went to tour apartments over the weekend. We were very indecisive in our decision until we came across Winding Creek, our leasing agent was Mya. She is polite, knowledgable, and very accurate with all the features & amenities the property has to offer. She went above and beyond to answer any of our questions and concerns, she re-assured that we were satisfied with our visit. She had us sold, with her out spoken & out going attitude. She is your go to leasing agent, she is AWESOME!
