Store associates are completely unhelpful. Don't come here if you want to deal with competent people. We came in for a specific item that we couldn't find, so we asked for assistance. The first associate couldn't help and told us to ask another guy, who also couldn't help because he was watching self-checkout. A third guy went to look in the back for the item and couldn't find it, even though the website had it listed as in stock. Then we asked a girl for help and she also had no idea, so we had to ask her to find someone else to help. They have no system to look up items according to the associates who helped us, and as someone who worked in retail, I can't understand that. After she spoke with the manager, she said she needed the item number or barcode, which is not listed on the website for some reason, and that without it, the item couldn't be looked up at all. The manager didn't come out to talk to us even after all this and us waiting 20 minutes trying to get help. It was a collosal waste of time.

I visited the store a couple of times recently, as the store is convenient. Tonight, I stopped by to pick up some baking pumpkins. There were a lot of pumpkins that were shriveled or moldy and should’ve been thrown away last week.
When I got to the self checkout register, the pumpkins didn’t ring up as expected. This was about 5 minutes before the store closed and instead of the attendant apologizing and offering to adjust the price (the adjustment would’ve been about $1 or less), she proceeds to tell me that I picked up the wrong pumpkins and offered to walk me to where the pumpkins that were being sold for the price I mentioned, which didn’t even seem to be in the same area.
The price was clearly posted and the shipping container included dozens of the same pumpkins I selected, but were apparently put in the wrong place. Extremely poor customer service, especially for a grocer that seems to sell the same items that other grocers sell for 2, 3 or even 4 dollars.
Last week, I picked up some donut holes and they were stale. It seems like with Tom Thumb’s inflated prices and many people struggling to afford groceries, the items in the store aren’t selling through as fast as they used to. I’ll definitely consider shopping elsewhere whenever possible to avoid experiences like the one I had tonight.

I typically like shopping here. The fresh fruit can use some revamping. Some of the fruit are 2 steps from being rotten. That is disappointing 😞 I purchased meat, chicken, seasonings, milk and cheese.

SPOILED CHICKEN IN HOT DELI!! BE WARNED THAT THIS STORE'S HOT DELI REFRIES ITS POTATO WEDGES AND WARMS ITS LEFTOVER ROASTED CHICKEN AND CATFISH FROM THE PREVIOUS DAY! I could smell the spoiled, day old chicken from it's container and I left it at the counter! Day old reheated chicken has a VERY distinct smell. There was no way this was fresh chicken. The potato wedges were DRENCHED IN OIL AND THE INSIDES OF THEM WERE YELLOW!!! THE CATFISH WAS TOUGH BECAUSE IT WAS A DAY OLD BUT WAS REHEATED. The employee was RUDE and said not one word when I said thank you as all of those ladies back there are except the older lady. The Manager is even worse! Her name was Renea. She placed me on hold and next thing I know a guy from home goods answers then tells me to call back and dial extension 1200 WHICH YOU CANNOT DO!! PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION!!! Because if someone has called and said hey, your food is potentially spoiled, you take action and research the matter NOT place the caller on hold and transfer them to the home orders department. I will also be notifying an area Manager as well as their corporate offices. Simply the worst Tom Thumb in the Metroplex. I've even ended up with garlic that was rotting inside. Celery that looks gnawed on. Lemons that look dried out. Bell peppers that should be sold at a second chance market. Molded grapes. And a non existent seafood staff. You stand and look and wait and look and wait and see oh she's hanging out in the freezer dodging helping I guess. I won't visit this location again. Nothing in this neighborhood seems up to par anymore.

Worked here earlier last year, March - May 2023. I had a back injury, and I reported it late because I didn't know better and can't a worker's composition. Concentra gave me the run around, and never reached out for my physical therapy ever since. They wrongfully terminated me and made an excuse that I was off for too many weeks, and never communicate? Concentra was at fault. What's worse they never notified or called me that I was terminated. I didn't know. Be careful, when you have a work injury, these jobs will find a way and excuse to fire or lay you off. Very cut throat.

STOP! TURN AROUND. LEAVE. this is the worst Tom Thumb I have ever ever been in in my life. And forget about the pharmacy. They never have your medication’s when they are due, and although they tell you, they will have you on auto refill, that is a lie. So if you are taking some thing that you cannot go without, you probably want to get a new Pharmacy, it can take days for them to get the medication you need even though it’s already been due. You don’t want to have severe withdrawals because of their incompetence.

This store is friendly and feels safe. Easy in and out and nice parking are my reasons for shopping here. Gimmick pricing, making you buy 3-5 to get a discount or buy 2 get one free, are frustrating. The store tends to be poorly stocked. If they are out of an item, often after a buy multiple sale, it may be weeks or months before it is again stocked.

Came in went through self checkout the lady walked away and had 3people who needed help at self check! We waited and waited finally I walked over to ask who's tending to self check, she short redhead older lady said I'll be right there. Where is the customer service this is sad I understand helping another employee but you have customers waiting. I flagged down a tall black lady to help she says I'm in customer service she'll be right with you! Um what about my time this is ridiculous if you can't stay at your station get someone who can help

Buyer Beware.!!! Carrier Pkwy Store Long time customer. I have bought 2 items within the last month 2024 that are expired. French's Dijon mustard that was Exp. Sept 2023 and now the Jack Links Beef Jerky on sale this weekend that was Exp. Oct 2022. This store is turning into a mess. Check the dates people. Buyer Beware!!! Oh I already emailed Frenchs and Jacks Links to inform them of the shady Tom Thumb practices.

Update. I just spent $160 at the store and have been overcharged the last 3 times I have done major shopping. But this week I didn't even go to get my money back because the same 'manager' Andy in customer svc was behind the counter. The same one who for the past 2 times has been nothing short of disrespectful and rude when I went to get my money then, for being overcharged. Its a shame the store advertises one price and charges a higher price and that im too fed up with being treated like trash by someone who was placed in a role she is absolutely not qualified for and my reports fall on deaf ears by TT leaders.
Last week I purchased the same deal buy 2 get 3 free and it overcharged me. ANDY the manager on duty was at customer service when I came up to get my money and she told another lady you deal with her and walked away. What a sweetie. Tom Thumb do you have no pride anymore in how your customers are treated? She is by far the most unqualified person for this position. Aldi is fast becoming my go to and then Kroger around the corner for what they don't have. Tom Thumb is .5 miles from my house but if I'm going to be treated like this by an obviously uneducated unprofessional employee I'll take as much of business some where else.
