I called Steven Alden Appliance for help with my malfunctioning GE monogram ice machine and they had it repaired in one day! The crew was very prompt, courteous and I highly recommend their services. I will be calling them again when needing appliance repairs.

A friend in my neighborhood recommended Steve one morning when I discovered that my fridge had stopped working. My neighbor said that he had used him multiple times before & he is highly knowledgeable & very trustworthy. I found out both descriptions were very true when Steve’s company came out that very day & completely fixed all the refrigerator’s problems! They even stayed until 9 until the job was done!
The next morning I received a text from Steve asking how my fridge is working. I was able to tell him it was working great! We will definitely be using Steve Alden & his company in the future!

Was searching online to replace my broken washing machine. Contacted Mr. Steve and told him I wasn’t sure why but, the washer I had suddenly stopped spinning and I needed to buy one of his refurbished washing machines. He was very helpful and told me it’s possible he would be able to fix the one I had and save me money. I called early morning and he came out within less than an hour and a half. Took him less than an hour to repair it! Im grateful I was able to find him. Will definitely be saving his contact information and patronizing his business for the future when needed.

These folks were able to repair same day I called. Tech was kind and competent. What I liked the most is they were willing to communicate via text, which I prefer and they checked on cost (since I already knew what was wrong) and availability before quoting anything. The repair is perfect and I am back to being able to use my dryer again. Thanks!

Steven sent out Fred to fix our washer. 1hr later he's diagnosing issue. Broken drain pump. They picked up part same day and installed it. Fred was cool and composed. Cost was acceptable, didn't feel gouged. Thank you.

We had a very positive experience with Steven Alden Appliance. I was particularly impressed with their availability, promptness, technical expertise, and follow-up after the service call. Our problem turned out to be multiple component failures including the compressor and two evaporator coil fans. The failed compressor was diagnosed immediately and replaced promptly under warranty. Persistent problems with the ice maker necessitated two follow-up visits that resulted in the replacement of two evaporator coil fans.
If you need refrigerator repairs, I recommend Steven Alden Appliance highly and without hesitation.
Below are more details of our experience.
We discovered late one Monday afternoon that our LG refrigerator was not cooling -- neither the refrigerator nor the freezer, and it was not making ice. After a pointless text message interaction with LG's service line, I decided to call Steven Alden Appliance. I expected to get their voice mail at 10 pm and I intended to leave a message to get in line for a service appointment, but, lo and behold, Steven answered the phone! We had a "live" chat and he scheduled a service appointment for the next morning (Tuesday). Steven immediately suspected a failing compressor.
The tech confirmed Steven's suspicion Tuesday morning and another tech was dispatched to replace the compressor. The new compressor was installed and working by 1:00 pm Tuesday. We were advised to wait 12 hours for the refrigerator to reach operating temperature and for ice production to begin.
Steven followed up with me at 7:30 Wednesday morning to check the status of our refrigerator. At that time, items in the freezer were frozen solid and the temperature in the refrigerator was 40 degrees, but no ice had been generated. Steven decided to dispatch a tech to recheck refrigerant levels.
Steven arrived with a tech at 9:45 Wednesday morning. They added a small amount of refrigerant and checked for leaks. There were no leaks. He and the tech left at 10:15. I was advised to wait another 12 to 24 hours for ice production to begin.
There was still no ice Thursday morning, so I notified Steven and he dispatched two techs for additional diagnostic work. They arrived at 11:00 am and, within 30 minutes, noted that the evaporator coil fan for the ice maker was inoperative and the one for the freezer was failing. They recommended replacing both of them. I agreed, the fans were located locally and installation was completed by 3:00 pm. At that point, the refrigerator was then operating normally. It continues to do so.
I recommend Steven Alden Appliance without hesistation for their fast, quality service, very knowledgeable techs, timely follow-up after service, and commitment to continue working until I was completely satisfied.

Honest, efficient and affordable!
If you’re looking for an honest business that is fast and fair— then call Steven! He doesn’t play pricing games and he is one of those rare business owners that just wants to help. I have a faulty Samsung refrigerator that has honestly been a pain. They came in and diagnosed it (which was different than what I was previously told by another business), and saved me so much money + additional headaches. He’s a serious guy, but I like that he is results oriented and gets straight to the point. If he can’t help you- he’ll tell you! Highly recommend! Thanks, Steven!

The owner, Steve, answered the phone himself on a Sunday, asked lots of questions, offered advice, and got me scheduled within 24 hours. His son, Jacob, showed up on time, was personable and polite, fixed the fridge quickly, and even played with my dogs. The bill was exactly what I had been quoted by Steve. That’s wonderful old-fashioned service that you rarely come across these days and I recommend them highly.

Steve Alden is very honest, professional and delivers great customer service.
He was able to send someone to my home to repair my dryer and washer for a very fair price and sooner than I thought possible.
The service guy that came out was very polite, knowledgeable and provided great customer service too.
It's nice to know there are still people in this world who care about their customers.
