Nice hotel- the rooms and bathrooms are nice and the staff is very helpful. The beds aren’t the most comfortable and same with the pillows.

Noteworthy details: No elevator. Even though everyone had not checked in yet, they did not offer any accommodation for a 75 year old with COPD and asthma. Had to climb stairs to 2nd floor with baggage. Had to make 3 trips. Shades on all the light fixtures were broken and the room smelled like old smoke.

Basic hotel with barebones of everything. 1 night stay for just sleep might work. It is in an excellent location : close to two great strips of restaurants, easy access to I-20, good parking lot, clean bed, tons of stores nearby, relatively safe area.Cons: The rooms and hotel are kept in bare minimum maintenance. Bathrooms are so so. Carpet smells, there was even a guest smoking marijuana. Breakfast is a joke - all junk food, even the banana was stale :)

I was hesitant to book here after reading some of the other reviews but I'm glad I did. I arrived on a Monday afternoon and stayed till Wednesday. The person at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The place smelled like it had just been sanitized, fresh and clean. The room they gave me was on the 1st floor near the front. It was large and fully equipped. The pillows sucked but the bed was good. Bathroom was large and clean. Water pressure was excellent. The cleaning service was very courteous and helpful. My only real complaint is the breakfast. It consisted of microwave sausage and egg croissants and other grab and go stuff. The coffee is not very tasty but then again I'm a coffee snob so....For the price and room, I would definitely stay here again!

We stay with this family owned business whenever we come to Grand Prairie. All the staff are very helpful. The owner is updating the rooms. We notice every day, every shift how clean and fresh the rooms and common areas are. The location is very convenient for the drive to DFW-airport, 25 minutes taking i20w to TX360n etcetera.Thank you so much for your help and your kindness. We wish you the very best in 2024 with continued success among Choice Hotels. Will see you again soon.

The entire hotel smelled like marijuana. I'm not a prude, but aren't the rooms supposed to be smoke free? We couldn't walk down the hallway without getting a contact high. I had my son with me and had to explain to him what that awful smell was! Also, we had plumbing issues. When we called the attendant at the front desk, she offered us a plunger and told us that we'd have to take care of the problem ourselves. We were told that we would be compensated on our bill for the trouble, but of course, we were not. We will not be staying at this hotel ever again. Honestly, I'm not sure that we will stay at any Quality hotels again. It was not a good experience.

The cleanest hotel room that I have ever been in, scrupulously so! And the a/c was brand new! In Texas, good a/c is a must and can make all the difference! Very kind, gracious staff.

I enjoy staying here. I have no complaints other than the smell of the carpet in the room. Of course the hotel is not updated but they are accommodating and very welcoming. I stayed here for three days for a conference and it was good. I recommend to anyone trying to save

Very nice , quiet & clean hotel . The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaints I have is that the bed was kind of hard , not as soft as most hotel beds I’ve stayed at . Also , they have no elevator just stairs. Other than than , very convenient location next to a lot of different restaurants & shopping centers .

I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. The woman at the front desk was nice and accommodating. She gave us a room on the first floor since we had a lot of stuff to bring in, and they don’t have an elevator. The room was clean and had plenty of space. Beds were comfy and A/C worked well. Breakfast had plenty of options for our taste. There were breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, waffles, yogurt, cereal, muffins etc. Bananas were the only fresh fruit though. We forgot to get a receipt when we left, but called later on to ask if they could email a copy, and they got it done right away. Very happy with our stay and I would definitely stay there again.

Upon checking in, the front desk staff was very approachable and the front area appearance of the hotel was not. When I got to my room there was a strong smell of oldest and mode. I request to have my room changed due to my allergies and mode smell. the next room i was given had the same smell but not as strong. I didn't complain just felt I guess I could make it through the weekend. TV channel selection was non existent the second night . the neighbors up stairs was up all night partying, I finally got up at 3 am and complained to the front desk . As I was walking down the hall there was a man sleeping drunk in the hallway . I will never this hotel again.
