I would not recommend coming to this location. Every time me and my husband have gone we have had problems. They don’t seem to train the staff very well and half of the staff have a stuck up attitude and will do anything not to help you. The fish specialist doesn’t know what he’s talking about half of the time. I went in to get some medication for one of my gold fish and the fish specialist told me I was feeding them the wrong food because they shouldn’t have any meat ( even though majority of gold fish food has a meat as the first ingredient) and my gold fish ended up dying. When I took the fish back they would refund me for anything including the fish because I had the fish for to long and I had already opened the product.

Are fish came home with cottonmouth and there was a dead jumbo gold fish in a ziplock bag on the counter.

As a big aquarium hobbyist, this is easily the best Petco/Pet store in a 30 mile radius. They have an awesome selection and do a good job taking care of their fish. Lots of live plants etc. Every time we go Breanna helps us and this girl is amazing! She is so so helpful and has the best attitude. Come to this Petco and see my girl Breanna - you will not be disappointed. Thank you!

I was very impressed by the selection of soft corals at the Grand Prairie location, and Petco is the only chain locally to that carries saltwater supplies.

Picking up supplies for a terrarium build and got a beautiful customer service experience with Sebastian not only did he explain the perks that Petco have to offer, but he was also very eager and excited to give great customer service.

Did a return with Happy returns. Good experience, only complaint is Happy returns tells you where to go but not where to take your return when you get there and there was nothing in store indicating where you should be either. Fortunately the staff was friendly and helpful and made the process pleasant.

This is my home Petco now, the staff at this one take great care of their aquatic livestock, and they have some cool coral as well! Love it. More selection at this location compared to a few others.
