We went to tbe cafeteria at 7:45 and most of the items were over ! The store closes at 9pm! There r folks shopping till 8:40 with kids and having food in tbe cafeteria would surely be helpful

Ikea is always a great experience. They keep it clean and the staff is helpful. I love the displays and how they have everything setup.

This was the first time I’d ever been to an IKEA ever and it was a major let down. The only reason I gave 2 stars is due to the fact that some of their stuff is pretty cool and convenient. Also out of the 6 employees we spoke to only 2 were super helpful, so I thank them <3. Anyways, as I said, we went in pretty blind not really knowing what we were getting into. Regardless, you’d think the employees would be helpful, but no not really. The first guy we spoke to asking for help to locate an item essentially told us he didn’t know. If we continued we would probably find it though! We didn’t, because it was out of stock, which we found out way later in our visit. Then the second man we spoke to seemed to be VERY inconvenienced by our presence. We just wanted some help, we stated this was our first time and he still treated us as if we were seasoned ikea goers. Anyways there was some not so comfortable banter back and forth with this dude. The one thing I did understand about ikea before going was it is somewhat do it yourself kinda place but uhhhh? What are the employees there for if not to help when people need assistance? I don’t know- it was confusing and the store is quite overwhelming to begin with. I feel our visit would’ve been a lot better if the employees were helpful.

This place is amazing from the meat balls to the endless rooms set up. You can purchase so many things from here at a reasonable price. It's a long walk but they make it easy to understand how to get through the store quicker. They also have great hotdogs for really cheap. IKEA is a store you must check out.

Average IKEA experience.

Overpriced garbage furniture that literally falls apart after 1 year. Legos would hold up better than most of their furniture. Spend a little more money and go somewhere else.

Do not pick up at this store, person named Karen kept skipping my order and when asked said it was because it was heavy and only one person was picking it. Which is crazy cuz the whole store was busy and they a lot of people inside but ONLY 2 for pickups. That’s crazy and absurd. Will be messaging corporate as well. Still waiting 45 mins for a mattress.

Armando was an amazing help when I came earlier today to pick up my purchase via click and collect. I had forgotten to wait for the notification email and was deflated when I realized the page told me that my purchase would only be ready much later in the day. As I had driven such a long distance to get to this location and because of my busy schedule, I could not afford to come back later. I explained my situation to Armando, who understood and helped me within 30 minutes to get my purchase and get me on my way. This man deserves a raise for such quality customer service! Thank you Armando!

I attended Ikea’s teacher event yesterday. They gave hundreds of teachers a free FRAKTA bag that contained a $10 gift card, 15% off our purchase and tickets to win prizes. I didn’t participate in the raffle but I enjoyed the event. I ended up buying a bookcase and an artificial plant for my classroom. Thank you for supporting teachers!
The reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I had a separate coupon that I had wanted to use, but it wasn’t honored even though the customer service department said it would be. Nonetheless, I am happy with my purchase.

Reviewing the cafeteria specifically - I’ve eaten at the IKEA Frisco cafe numerous times and always been able to customize my orders with whatever entrees and sides I wanted. Got to IKEA Grand Prairie today and the person doing my food order says I can’t have macaroni with my meatballs, I have to pick two sides in a different “category” of sides and if I want macaroni it’s a separate “meal” and my wife wants to just get the chicken tenders but you have to also buy a side with that, apparently? This has not been my experience ever, not even at this IKEA. I feel like we got pigeonholed into spending more money on extra sides rather than just uncharged or whatever. Really annoying.
