My parents banked here for many, many years. The bank has had different names and or owners over the years. Both my parents passed away more than a year ago. Dad passed in April of 2023. Mom passed August of 2023. I was the one set up to take care of their affairs. Dad has / had an account we set up to pay a monthly fee to a nursing home. The account was frozen when he passed. He was the only name on the account. I couldn't care less about the small balance left in the account. I have no intention of pursuing it. I have been attempting ever since to have the bank either stop sending out monthly statements for his account or change the mailing address on the account. All my parent's mail is currently forwarded to my PO box. The address the bank keeps trying to send his monthly statement to is my parent's house which we sold. I do not want his private info going to the people that bought their house. I have called the bank multiple times. I have been there in person countless times. I have spoken with several bank employees. I brought his death certificate and my power of attorney. My last trip to the bank was a couple of weeks ago. They said they would call me about fixing this. They never called. I just received another statement addressed by the bank to the house we sold. I'm not sure how long USPS will allow these to be forwarded. With all the attempts I have made to correct this, I will consider this pure negligence on the bank's part if my parent's private info is placed in the wrong hands. Scammers can use the info from deceased individuals for nefarious reasons.

This was the first customer service experience I’ve had with Cadence outside of just making my monthly mortgage payment. I was dealing with a “new to me” insurance claim problem. Duane Jones was SPECTACULAR walking me through what I needed to do and getting things processed efficiently and with a great smile! I LOVED my experience with Cadence and Duane!

It's was a horrible experience to witness such poor customer service. I watched my partner get interrogated for a simple withdrawal .
She presented 3 different forms of identity, including a photo ID . Then, to have the supervisor Damien blurt out in front of everyone that this is not because your black was soooo embarrassing. No one was thinking that or said anything to that fact . He was the supervisor acting like this...

What a horrible and uncomfortable experience I encountered today at this branch.
The teller was unprofessional, and when I addressed this to the supervisor, things got even weirder and more unprofessional.
I couldn't believe it and when I requested to speak with the branch manager ... she decided to make me feel very small by implementing tactics using her power of authority.
I would suggest not using this branch and if so reporting the ridiculous customer service to the proper department by calling the 1800 number.
No one should be in possession of your hard earned monies or valuables and treat you with such disrespect.

I had a very disturbing experience at this location. Besides only having 1 counter teller inside on a Friday afternoon, the manager or supervisor was not only unprofessional, unmotivated, unhelpful, and under qualified, she was dismissive to the degree of open racism.I asked if the counter teller could cash my check without having an account at this branch because I’ve experienced a hold on deposits from checks drawn on this bank. She went to the back office to explain why I wanted to cash the check and not deposit it to my own account. The “manager” let out a “huh, and well I don’t know about that, I’ve never heard of that.” I assume she did not realize I speak fluent English. The teller proceeded to move forward but then had another issue. She returned to the manager to determine a resolution and was immediately told not to continue cashing the check. As I was asking the cashier what my options were now that she had already written on the front of the check, stamped the back with their bank’s clearing information, and had me endorse it and stamp with my fingerprint. The manager came from the back and dismissed my presence, my legitimacy as a customer, and as a person and told me to move out of the line. She determined my business and my time was less valuable than the 2 customers who came in after me.As a manager, customer SERVICE has been lost on this person. She would be better served as a law enforcement officer since she was able to spot my criminal intentions from 15 feet away, based solely on the color of my skin. She made no effort to resolve my issue, explain why she was dismissing my request, or what my options were now that the teller had altered the check I brought in so that no other financial institution would clear the check. The lack of disrespect and utter annoyance she displayed was disgusting and sad. I would expect a more professional response from someone in that position.I will be filing a formal complaint with this bank’s higher tier management, sending correspondence to the bank’s president and board members. I will be posting my review on each of the online search engines that list this bank, as well as my social media accounts and those specific to racial discrimination. I expect no response from this branch, but I will update my review if and when I receive any correspondence from the corporate office. Good luck if you have to use this branch, especially if you are a person of color.

FKA Grand Bank, many of the staff remains. BancorpSouth still feels like a local bank but is much bigger than Grand Bank. They are still a little old school but that also include real friendly customer service. They do not have all the bells and whistles on-line or in their app that you would find at one of the mega banks but much easier to reach out to real person and get results with BancorpSouth.Fees and such? they are in line with industry standards and in some cases less. No one likes excessive fees but they are not exclusive to this bank either.

You tell me. After using this bank with my disabled dad for years he passed away a year+ ago and we went in and had my name added to the account so I could use it till we decided to close it out, showing them he was deceased. Everything was fine, I could check the acct. online no problem, make deposits, transfers, you know...bank stuff. then suddenly today, after almost 2 years of me doing all sorts of transactions , becasue I had a question about something they decided that somehow my name wasnt really on the acct. like we had SPECIFICALLY SET UP PREVIOUSLY and threatened to reverse my income tax and told me I had been doing something Illegal for a year . Unbelievable. Utter and complete incompetence and rude treatment. Lucky all they got out of me was an expletive and an apology. I will be glad when the day comes we can close this acct. and I can never deal with them again. Pure insanity, mostly on my part for expecting I guess something totally foreign to them.
