It's rare these days to see a 24 Hour Fitness membership card, but I still have mine. Just this morning , I walked into my local 24 Hour Fitness to renew my membership. The familiar sights and sounds brought back memories of countless workouts and personal milestones achieved within these walls.
As I handed over my card, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and nostalgia. The staff welcomed me with warm smiles, and the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. The facility was as top-notch as ever, with state-of-the-art equipment and clean, spacious workout areas.
Renewing my membership was a no-brainer. The support and community at 24 Hour Fitness have always been second to none. Whether you're a seasoned fitness enthusiast or just starting your journey, this place has something for everyone.

First, it’s not a 24hr gym as the name suggests, so pay attention to the hours of operation. Secondly and most importantly, gym equipment is POORLY maintained. I was surprised to see almost all the elliptical machines were not functional and almost half the treadmills did not work!!! A number of other machines on the gym floor were also nonfunctional including the stair master and weight machines. The changing room had a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness I honestly think for a company this big they would have some sort of gym equipment maintenance program but it is shocking and unacceptable given members pay a fee to use the equipment and don’t receive their benefits fully. The employees were friendly and helpful.

All of the cardio machines are broken and it’s been like that for the last year, you would think they would fix the issue by now but they haven’t. I’m about to cancel my membership for this reason. Also the steam & sauna rooms are always dirty & smell… you would think they would clean them on closing hours but they don’t.

All the cardio machines are always broken , the restrooms are so nasty and it’s hard to workout when everything in the facility is always broken . It’s such a shame that I have to pay for other membership because the equipment is always broken

The main reason it gets a 1 star is because the machines (stairmaster, treadmills) are ALWAYS broken. 12 stairmaster machines and 10 or 11 are broken and not usable. Been that way for months and no matter how much I compmain they never get fixed. Ridiculous!!!

This gym would be so much nicer if they just fixed the equipment. Staff are super nice and say they are working on it, but I have NEVER seen anyone fixing anything. 2 stair masters out of 12 work. And only one of those goes above the speed of 1. It’s unacceptable.

Although I am not consistent with my workout routine, it seems every time I come, several machines are out of service!
For 15 years, I've made my payments on time without interruptions. Additionally, I have been an otherwise, agreeable, and non-problematic patron. But I am tired of the bare minimum service this location gives its customers.
In addition to the downed equipment, the machines are filthy, you all have reduced the # of cleaning spray bottles & paper towel stations for guests to wipe down the equipment, and the location is no longer open 24 hours!
There are plenty of other fitness centers who offer much better service, clean and well-lit work out areas, extended hours of operation, and better & newer equipment; and they're doing all this at a much better price point for members.
I have complained to on-site management, emailed a district manager who never responded, and even posted my concerns on Twitter (X), but still, the equipment remains inoperable. I hate to change, hence the reason I've been with 24 for so long. But it's time that I move on and give my $$ to a center who truly strives to provide top-tier customer satisfaction!

I’ve been going to this gym for four years now. Out of 35 cardio machines only one works. It’s been this way since Covid. They continue to tell new members that they are working on it but it’s been this way for four CONSECUTIVE years. If that wasn’t bad enough the gym is over run by teenagers who care more about making TikTok’s than actually working out. They roll in groups of 9+ deep and take up all the machines then chat the whole time. Machines go down and they don’t come back. How this gym is still open I honestly don’t know. Unfortunately this gym is only a couple minutes from my house and that’s why I’ve stayed. They continue to lose mass numbers of members because of said issues. I’m here six days a week. For the last four years so I’m very accustomed to these issues. Pick a different gym. Trust me.

Why am I ready to move forward with a gym membership and find out this location isn't 24 hours. The flexibility to work out anytime is a plus. I would have felt scammed after signing up.

They can’t seem to open on time! Was there at 5 am waiting 15 minutes and then left. This is NOT their 1st time not opening on time.. they can’t seem get reliable staff that wants to open.
We all know. It’s no longer 24 hours as the name state . Inconvenient about 20-30 of us this morning!

Disgusting Gym that is not cleaned regularly. Half of the Stair Master machines are broken and have been this way for months. Also, this is true with the Treadmills.
24-hour Fitness doesn't make an effort in cleaning or fixing broken equipment. I let my membership expire and will never come back.

Fairly nice place. You get all types of people when it comes to gyms. I just focus on the reason I'm there, to work out. My only complaint is it should be open a few more hours longer.
