My husband and I came in tonight to get a Monday night snack and we had the WORST experience I’ve ever had at a gas station. I got my Powerade and candy and when we went up my husband asked for a zyn. The older lady checking us out asked for my husbands ID (who is bald and 30). He handed it over no problem then she asked for my ID. I didn’t have it on me considering we’re in our PJs just getting a snack for bed. I pulled up a photo of my ID on my phone and showed her. She denied us saying that the state of Texas has a rule that all parties at the counter must have an ID. WHAT? I would understand if we were teenagers but for real? I googled it and it’s not a law at all. She said “sorry they do sting operations here all the time.” Sting operations? Please.
My husband dropped me back off at home and went back and witnessed a sweet Hispanic couple trying to buy a lottery ticket with the same women. They were asking for help and asking for her to explain to them how the ticket worked and she was extremely rude to them. “I don’t know what you want me to do, you clearly don’t have the capacity to understand this”. So so rude. There’s a reason there’s all these low reviews lately…

had an extremely disappointing and painful experience at the RaceTrac gas station in Granbury, Texas. My sister, a Puerto Rican woman in her 50s, was the victim of racist and humiliating treatment when she tried to buy a beer. She presented her Puerto Rico ID, which is fully valid since Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, but the employee demanded a passport, ignoring the legal validity of Puerto Rican licenses across the U.S.
Even after my sister showed her Texas driver’s license, the employee refused to sell her the item and started yelling at us loudly, treating us like criminals. This happened publicly, and other customers noticed the mistreatment.
We were deeply hurt and shocked. It is unacceptable that in 2025, there are still employees who discriminate against U.S. citizens for speaking Spanish or having a different appearance. What happened was not just ignorance — it was blatant racism.
I strongly urge RaceTrac to take action, properly train their staff on the legal validity of all U.S. IDs — including those from Puerto Rico — and issue an apology for this discriminatory incident.
No one deserves to be treated this way because of their background or accent.

Terrible experience – witnessed racist behavior
Today at around 4:30 PM, while waiting in line at pump #3, I witnessed a disturbing act of racism toward a young woman. The way the staff treated her was completely unacceptable — rude, dismissive, and clearly racially motivated.
It was done right in front of me and others in line, and I was shocked by how openly disrespectful and discriminatory the behavior was. No one deserves to be treated that way based on their appearance, accent, or ethnicity.
I will not be returning to this gas station and urge others to take their business elsewhere until management addresses this issue seriously and publicly.
Respect is not optional.

Had an issue with a Visa gift card I bought for the holidays. Staff went above and beyond to make things right, even when Visa was being horrible. Johnny and Bethany went out of their way to try to help, even staying on the phone with Visa and me for nearly 75 min total between the two of them. If you want customer service and people that genuinely care, this is the place. Could not recommend them enough.

Carla is the worst employee she is absolutely the rudest person most of us regulars will stand in the other line before going to her even if her line is open. I’m not sure how someone so rude still has a customer service job.

Stopped in there yesterday driving through on my way back to Round Rock. Once I got home I realized I was double charged. I called the store John answered, he was able to find the error and fix the situation. Thanks John, really appreciate your time and effort!!

This place is great. Always clean. Stocked. The employees are awesome. I even met one of my greatest friends here (he was a cashier). (This is all coming from someone who lives about a mile from it and comes quite often)
I only rated this a 4 because the left side of the slushie machine has been broken for months now????
